A/N: LOL. I was actually listening to Kesha's "Blow"  while writing this chapter. I recommend you do the same for a better reading experience.

"It sure is dark" Pier commented as they both went inside the passage. However, his glowing crown gave them a bit of light.

"Do you know what's inside, your highness?" Pier asked as they continued to walk side by side.

"I don't. Father only instructed me to enter with you when you invite me" He replied and Pier gave him an acknowledging nod.

"I see. Well, there's no point turning back now" He sighed.

"Why did you pull your sword out, your highness?" Pier asked and Asher stopped for a second.

"Well, my father told me to prepare my sword when we come in. Is that why you also manifested your wind magic?" He asked in return and Pier nodded his head.

"That's correct, the old man told me to prepare my magic before entering or else I'll die" He spoke in an annoyed tone and Asher laughed at him.

"You won't die when you're with me" Asher spoke but Pier rolled his eyes at him.

"That's unlikely"

'I mean, Pier died because he's with you' He wanted to joke about it but he felt like he had insulted the original Pier enough already and when they meet in the afterlife, Pier's gonna hack his head with an axe many times.

"W-Why?" Asher asked, baffled with the response he got from the young master.

"Everyone can die at any time, your highness. Even if you're with me I'll still die. Everyone does" He explained in a nonchalant manner which made Asher conscious.

"You're skilled enough to defeat almost anyone in the world, your highness. Please don't get me wrong" Pier reminded him and Asher gave him a light smile.

"How about you, your highness? Do you think you'll die if you're with me?" Pier asked out of the blue and Asher actually thought about it.

"I guess no-" but before he could actually finish his sentence, his eyes widened when he saw Pier hold a flaming sword in his hand and point it at him.

Asher's entire body stopped moving when he saw the young master and he felt his world stop.

"Pier-"

Slash!

He was stunned and Asher stayed still in his spot. He let go of the golden sword as blood started to pour on his head.

"You'll probably die if you're not with me, your highness" Pier spoke as he inserted the fire sword even more at the creature just right behind Asher.

The creature resisted for a few more seconds before it lost color and vanished like a ghost.

Surprised and scared at the same time, Asher could not move and simply stood like a statue.

"W-What..."

"Shh!" Pier shushed him as he turned towards a specific direction again.

It did not take long as a gargling sound can be heard from the distant darkness and Pier pointed his flame sword in that direction.

"Pick your sword up, your highness!" Pier spoke as he disappeared from Asher's line of sight and reappeared at the back of the same creature that sneaked up behind the prince.

The creature did not even have any time to react as Pier dug his sword right in its chest.

Blood splattered on the young master's face and Pier grimaced at it.
