"Go to Uncle Gideon for now, Raegan," Pier spoke to his son and the little prince of Mir nodded his head before dashing off of his dad's arms and onto the still kneeling swordmaster on the ground.

Turning his back from the crowd, Pier rolled his eyes before accepting the hand of the man standing beside him.

"You have my gratitude," he spoke while eyeing Ciaran with a naughty look.

Naughty in a way that the vampire king unintentionally scoffed.

Pier knew how to handle his attitude and emotions well. One moment ago, he was weeping and crying out of sadness and the next he would be acting as the most notorious villain in a villain.

He ignored the calls of the people behind him. Pier cannot stand any of them.

They were all looking down on him almost a year ago and now they were calling his name in desperation.

"You won't greet your followers?" Ciaran pulled him gently until their chests touched.

"Followers?" Pier hummed as he felt Ciaran's breath on his neck.

'Being possessive, aren't we?' He smiled at the thought.

Ciaran was making sure everyone – both the commoners and the royals saw whom the white-haired king belonged to.

"Yeah, they're calling out for your name and your title as their saint," the man faked a small laugh which Pier found silly.

He knew what the vampire king was thinking deep inside.

Since Ciaran was still holding Pier's gloved hands, the white-haired king's siren eyes gazed at him.

"Do not kill them, Fenrir. I am your saint alone," he whispered like it was almost a breath that not even Gideon heard it.

"Very well," Ciaran smirked as he tightened his hold on his lover's hands and the two turned to stand in front of the palace.

The very palace that Pier remembered clearly.

The palace in which the original Pier grew up and the one where the current Pier experienced the worst ever since he transferred to this world.

"Raise your stance, Gideon," Pier ordered wherein the swordmaster got up as well.

"Are you uncomfortable?" He asked Ciaran in turn and the vampire shook his head.

"Being seen is but standing beside you isn't." Pier scoffed at the response and they proceeded to step forward. He needed to have Ciaran uncomfortable or the vampire king might accidentally let out a bit of his frustration and kill everyone in a certain diameter from him.

"Let us head inside," he spoke and the four started to walk to the gates of the palace where the Royal Knights of Taron are waiting with swords raised in the air.

The Royal Family of Mir was wearing an all-black attire.

Ciaran wore a black three-piece suit, Pier wore a long, black suit, while little Raegan was wearing the same suit as his father but had a red tie on his neck.

Only Gideon's was of a different color.

Once they reached the gates, the knights all spoke.

"We greet the arrival of His Majesty, King Pier!" They spoke but the group remained standing there without any reaction aside from Pier raising his eyebrows.

The knights started to become nervous when Pier did not smile.

It was then, that the young king moved forward and they stepped aside to let him through.
