"Did you have fun talking with them?" Ciaran inquired as he entered the chambers.

He saw Pier was sitting on a chair near the window and was reading a book.

"I did." The white-haired noble responded without sparing him a glance. Pier was too focused on the book he was reading to even give Ciaran a slight gaze.

Furrowing his eyebrows, the vampire king looked at him with a raised eyebrow.

It was one of those times again where Pier was to engrossed with something that he refuses to acknowledge the other people around him.

"Pier, look at me." He spoke while inching closer to the younger man.

But Pier still did not.

"My love, please look at me." Ciaran whispered in his ear and nibbled on his earlobe. His canine teeth grazing over the skin and it made Pier tilt his head.

"What are you doing, Fenrir?" He asked as he felt the vampire king stood at the back of the seat he was sitting on.

"I want your attention." It was spoken without any hesitations.

Ciaran was bold and daring when it comes to his wants and though Pier wasn't complaining, he sometimes found the brazen characteristic to be quite entertaining.

The man behind him was usually calm and collected. Ciaran does not show any other expression besides nonchalance when he was in front of the others but it felt like he was the master of seduction when they were all alone at their chambers.

Tilting his head further to the side, Ciaran gently leaned his body closer to Pier's and grazed his lips at the red luscious lips Pier has.

"Why do you want my attention?" Pier teased and pushed Ciaran's head back.

There was no use for the attempt of seduction.

If Ciaran was the master, Pier was a god.

"Because you are my lover. It is my desire to seek for your attention at all times." The man responded making Pier smirk.

"But you see and talk to me everyday." Closing the book, it produced a small thumping sound and Pier placed it on his lap.

"Doesn't matter. I want your attention every second." His baritone voice entered Pier's ear and it truly sounded pleasant.

"Where have you been? I haven't seen you all day." Pier inquired and Ciaran was now the one who chuckled.

"Were you looking for me?"

"I was. But I had company so I did not think about you too much."

Ciaran stopped with his eyebrows furrowed when he heard the statement.

"You are always making me frustrated, Pier." His hands went to caress Pier's side whilst he still stood behind the chair.

"Answer the question, vampire." He scoffed at the white-haired noble's demand.

Ciaran always found Pier's nature to be alluring and enticing. The words he spoke alone were enough to get him on edge and drive him crazy.

"I went to oversee the kingdom where I once came from." He admitted and Pier's eyebrows rose.

"Now that you've said it, you once had a kingdom before, right?"

"Yes. I went to investigate how the place is currently doing." He snaked his hands around Pier's waist and gently massaged it.
