Pier paced back and forth in the room. He was constantly biting his nails from time to time which does not usually happen but he was anxious.
'I have a dragon in my room! Aaah!' He wanted to scream out loud but was afraid would wake up the sleeping beast.
'Oh my gosh! Look at those scales! They're scary!' He bit his lower lip and observed the mythical creature even more.
"Guardian, you seem to like the dragon so much," Melfar pointed out in his head and the young king's grin widened.
"Of course! Dragons are the ultimate goals for fantasy lovers like me!" He huffed and shook his head multiple times as if saying there was no point in arguing with him.
"Your previous world does not have any magic?" The phoenix asked and Pier halted for a second.
"None, really. It's so boring there," He cheekily said before pacing back and forth again.
He had been doing this for the past couple of hours now.
'Shit! I want to pet it but I don't want to awaken it!' He argued with himself as he paused again after a few minutes to get a closer look at the small creature.
It was currently surrounded by his healing bubbles and Pier knew the dragon's health had fully recovered.
'Just a quick look!' The determined look on his face became even more prominent when he came up with a decision.
Carefully treading the way to the bed where the small dragon was, Pier gulped in anxiousness.
'What if it bites me and I lose a finger?' He asked himself.
'I have a lot of food prepared here though,' Pier slightly turned his head to look on the sides where there was plenty of meat and fruits piled in multiple food carts.
'Well... I can just regrow my finger now, can I?' he hummed when he finally got close to the bed and sat on the edge of it.
The bed's edge dipped when he did so and that stirred the small creature in its sleep.
'Oh shit, did I wake it up?' He peeked and indeed, the small dragon's eyes fluttered open.
Vibrant and cerulean blue eyes met with another set of blue eyes.
Pier was stuck staring at the dragon's eyes as he could not find the words to properly say.
They were bright and striking, just like his.
The dragon's entire body was a mixture of black and deep blue. Its scales were of the same color which contrasted perfectly to the eyes it possessed.
"Oh my... you're beautiful," Were the first words he spoke when he came in contact with the dragon's beauty.
"Kruu?" The dragon tilted its head when it saw the young man.
"A-Are you... okay now?" Pier asked him and the dragon turned to look inside the room.
Until its gaze landed on the pile of food that was stacked with each other in one corner of the room.
It happened so fast. The dragon swiftly flew towards the pile of food and started eating.
Pier let out a gasping breath as his heart pounded in his chest.
"Wow..." Meeting with a dragon even though it is a small one was probably the best thing that happened in his life.
The dragon continued eating for a few more minutes when it noticed the man it had seen was still staring.
"Kruu?" It sounded while biting a piece of meat in its mouth.
