"Are you cold?" Asher asked as they both walked through the dark passage again. However, there were no threats this time.
The both of them could not feel the presence of any other creature aside from themselves.
"A little bit but I'll manage, your highness" Pier responded as warm flame bubbles engulfed them.
'How come I've never used this while we were walking, haaah' He silently breathed as he remembered how they were aimlessly walking through the dark when they entered earlier.
How long has it been?
They simply left the fairy because Oasis was too focused in brushing against the blank canvas. She dismissed the two of them once she had the perfect image to paint and they could not do anything about it.
Asher nodded his head as he observed Pier.
The young master's eyes were droopy and Pier was constantly yawning from time to time.
"Pier..." He called and Pier turned his head to look at him.
"Hmmm?"
"About earlier..."
"What about it?"
Asher hesitated for a moment as he turned his gaze away.
"What... what kind of person are they...?" He was unsure of what to ask so he kept on pausing between a few words. Pier chuckled at how the Crown Prince was acting.
"I cannot disclose any information about him, your highness" He spoke and Asher had a worried look on his face.
"What... why? What if that person is dangerous?" Asher was concerned with the people Pier met. He was even more concerned that Pier is keeping the details of his new found person.
Not that he was trying to stop him from doing so but because he was worried his moon would get hurt again.
He already did enough damage, he wanted to let Pier experience happiness now that's why he was looking out for his distant moon.
'Well... that person is indeed dangerous... he kept kissing me whenever he got the chance'
"Please be at ease, your highness" Pier smiled and Asher kept silent when he saw the smile again.
It was always just like that.
Whenever he saw Pier's beautiful smile, words would leave his mouth and he would also be left staring.
They reached the entrance of the place where they had just passed through and Pier did not waste any more time as he started to walk towards the exit of the library.
"Pier!" Asher called and Pier halted in his steps.
The young master turned his head and he had a questioning look on his face. Asher was silent for a second as his hands shook and clenched.
"Do you want to have tea before you leave first?" He asked, hoping that he could see his moon just for a few more hours.
Letting go of his chances for Pier made him realize many things. It includes his perception.
He was too immature holding Pier back, forcing his affections on him when the latter already lost his own feelings for him.
However, that did not remove his wanting to see Pier.
