"I'm like summoning a demon." Pier spoke to himself as he finished arranging the separate bed for Gideon.

"Well, a handsome demon." He interjected while chuckling.

He then placed his hands on his hips as he stared at the bed. It was roughly the same size as his and it was placed near the wall so people cannot see the knight immediately if they do peek inside his room.

Once he was satisfied with his work, Pier started to wait.

He was counting sheep in his head while he was waiting. After all, he had a rough ride with Snow due to the weather and he got tired after playing with Nicholas and Gage.

"I'm like an old man now." He sighed as he straightened his posture.

It was until a few seconds later that smoke started to arise in the middle of the room which Ciaran appeared in, holding a sleeping knight in his arms.

"An old man or not you still look good." The green-eyed man spoke as he gave Pier a manly grin.

Th young master rolled his eyes at him as he proceeded to land his gaze at Gideon.

The knight was covered with a blanket and Pier's face turned into a frown again.

"Place him on the bed near the wall, Fenrir." He instructed and Ciaran followed.

He gently placed Gideon's sleeping body on the bed and arranged the blanket on him.

"He's heavy." Ciaran groaned while feigning a pained expression.

Pier observed Ciaran for a few seconds before sighing.

"Come here." He spoke before also sitting on his own side of the bed near the window.

They were on the palace's right-wing tower and Pier's room was located on the fifth floor, the highest one for the visitors of the Winter Night Festival.

He requested Asher to prepare him the room in the highest possible floor where others cannot easily see or approach him and being the 'generous' prince Asher was, he gave the entire fifth floor to Pier.

As Pier sat and faced the window, Ciaran went to sit beside him while holding his neck as if it was aching.

"Is he really that heavy?" Pier asked curiously as he looked back and observed Gideon.

"He was! My back is killing me!" Ciaran complained while cracking his neck.

The knight was, to say the least, three-fourth of how muscular Ciaran was.

Understanding the vampire prince's circumstances, Pier faced him.

"Sit on the floor, I'll massage your back." He spoke in which Ciaran grinned widely.

He did not waste another second as he comfortably sat on the carpeted floor and leaned his back on the bed. Pier's legs were on either side of him and Ciaran just casually stared outside the dark sky.

Ciaran removed his cloak along with his shirt and he groaned when he felt Pier's soft fingers brush against his shoulder blades.

Not that he had any pain, he just wanted Pier's touch.

"Is it painful here?" He gently asked while pressing his fingers on specific spots that he learned in his previous life as Eliam.

Ciaran closed his eyes as Pier's voice entered his ears.
