They were now nearing the first town located at the borders of the Cresencia Empire.
Some vampires have gathered along with the march of an endless sea of giant shadows towards the walls and they were all glancing at the two people floating at the top.
"The king is very powerful." One commented as he stared in awe at the giants that were making the ground tremble with every step.
"Which one?" Another asked and the former pointed at the man with a black coat.
"I am referring to King Ciaran." He uttered and the others agreed.
In one's point of view, if they were the ones living in Cresencia and see this catastrophe coming, they would flee the empire as fast as they can. No one else can stand the army of shadows that their king has produced.
The sheer size of each monster alone was enough to destroy plenty of buildings and split the earth open where it stepped.
Ciaran Fenrir released the dormant monstrosity within the Mir Mountains upon the Cresencia Empire and the world will know how powerful he is.
"Indeed, our majesty is powerful." The latter agreed and they continued to converse until their topic diverted to the other person floating beside Ciaran.
"But I am curious about our other king's power." Says the former that first spoke about the vampire king's power.
"I have never seen King Pier perform his magic that much." He added and the other vampire shook his head.
"Do you know the reason why we are still marching towards the empire?" He asked and the former shook his head.
"Because King Ciaran's monsters cannot reach empire that fast due to their size." He guessed and the other vampire nodded his head in agreement.
"That's right. We are walking here because we are using King Ciaran's power. However, we wouldn't be walking here if we were to use King Pier's power." He started to explain and the other vampire was obviously doused in confusion.
"What do you mean?"
"Do you see those bubbles surrounding each of King Ciaran's monster shadows?" The vampire nodded his head.
"Those are the work of King Pier's magic. It is so great that it surpassed holy magic and can protect King Ciaran's shadows from being destroyed by holy magic." He looked from left to right as if trying to keep it a secret.
Pier was the guardian of a phoenix and not just a simple phoenix. He was chosen as the guardian of the most powerful sovereign on the continent. Therefore, he also inherited some of its characteristics such as flames that are greater than holy magic and unending life.
That was the only weakness of Ciaran's shadows.
Holy magic.
They would disappear in the presence of the power but with Pier's bubbles surrounding them, not even an empire would be able to stop them.
"Wow..." The other vampire was amazed but the one that explained the flame bubbles did not stop there.
"And come closer..." He whispered and the other vampire followed suit. When he was close enough to hear the whisper of the other vampire, he listened attentively to the secret.
"I heard King Pier destroyed Taron Kingdom's walls in a single magic arrow!"
Gasp!
The vampire widened his eyes in shock and astonishment.
"A single arrow?!" He screamed out loud but covered his mouth fast enough for their chatter to be kept hidden.
"Didn't King Pier offer an allegiance with that human kingdom? Why did he destroy their walls?" The vampire asked and the other shrugged his shoulders.
