"You have spotted the one I am speaking of, right?" Pier spoke and the creature inside of him confirmed it.
"Indeed, there is a small dragon under the beastmaster's control," Melfar responded.
Those are the two creatures that they are trying to defeat inside the burning capital.
"I'm interested with the dragon, Melfar," He cheekily spoke and the phoenix inside him instantly knew what its guardian wants.
Pier wanted to have the dragon for himself.
"That is a young dragon that just hatched from its egg, Guardian," The phoenix pointed out and Pier's eyes sparkled in astonishment.
"Really?! A baby dragon?!" He wanted to squeal and probably dance in the air as he was inside his wind barrier but it wasn't the time for such display.
"Yes."
"Oh.My.God!" Pier shrieked as he scanned the surroundings for the dragon.
"I guess that is why Cresencia is so confident in invading Taron. They waited for the dragon to hatch and use it under the beastmaster's control," Pier clicked his tongue in disappointment.
Babies should be taken care of!
A dragon is one of the most powerful entities living in this world. They have the immense magic capacity and even at a young age, could wreak havoc and destroy a small village if they wanted to.
Cresencia brought one with them in hopes of completely invading Taron.
"That dragon probably came from the Cave of Dragons, guardian," The phoenix spoke and Pier raised his eyebrows in awe.
"Oh my, its mother is probably worried!" He watched as Gideon was slashing around the battlefield in quick movements that only his afterimage could be seen.
"I do not think so either. Dragons are egotistical creatures and only look after themselves. After a female dragon lays its egg, it will leave it to survive alone."
Pier produced an audible gasp when he heard the phoenix's words.
"They're bad parents like most of the parents I know in this world!" He glared at the beastmaster who was having a hard time fending off Gideon who's constantly trying to pierce through her monsters.
"No other creature aside from humans would even dare to go after a dragon's eggs, anyway. The moment the dragon hatches, no one can tame it. It will go on a rampage in search of food. However, seeing the situation, it seems like that beastmaster is powerful enough to tame the dragon the moment it hatched."
Pier nodded his head multiple times.
The beastmaster is powerful. He took note of that.
Even Gideon who is as quick as lightning and as powerful as an entire kingdom's army could not approach the beastmaster in an easy manner.
He needs to be careful because the moment one of her beasts catches Gideon, he would be dead meat and will have nowhere to run.
There were many beasts accompanying the beastmaster.
A giant snake with large fangs that dripped with venom.
Two enormous falcons soared the skies and would occasionally peck knights from Taron and eat them.
A humungous bear that the beastmaster was riding on.
There were even mutated gorillas that smashed people with their hands and destroyed walls with their fists.
