A/N: Was listening to 'Love Me Like You Do' by Ellie Goulding while writing the chapter. I recommend you do too for a better reading experience.

Filling the cup with champagne, the green-eyed man handed it to the other person.
"You're becoming an alcoholic, huh?" The latter's blue eyes turned crescent-shaped and his lips upturned. The melodic chuckle that resonated from his chest reverberated outside and entered the other man's ears.
Shaking his head and copying the smile, Ciaran produced a scoff as he found the statement quite hilarious.
"The champagne tastes good," he countered which garnered another set of light laughter from the blue-eyed king.
"It sure is," he spoke in amusement before drinking the fermented liquid inside the cup and feeling the burn that encompassed his throat as it made its way inside his system.
The aftermath taste of the red liquid lingering on his tongue.
Silence engulfed them and as the latter was busy consuming his glass of the expensive liquor, the vampire king was earnestly staring at him.
"What? Want to have a go at it again?" He joked but soon stopped when he saw that it was probably not the best comment since his lover's eyes gleamed an excited glow.
"As much as I wanted to, I have kept you in this room for three days already. Our citizens including Raegan will soon come looking for you," he responded making Pier blush.
"You and your ceaseless vigor for my body are on another level of compassion, Fenrir," he reached his hand out and Ciaran accepted it to help Pier get off the bed.
"I can't help it that my lover is so beautiful, no?" He inquired and the question got a raise of an eyebrow from Pier.
"Do you want to sleep with anything that's beautiful?"
"No, just you."
"Touché."
The vampire king slowly guided his lover into the window while he gently placed his hand on the latter's back to support him.
"Maybe when we get married, I can keep you inside the room for a full month," he spoke out of the blue when they reached the window.
"God, that appetite of yours should be placed somewhere else." Pier rolled his eyes making Ciaran chuckle this time.
"I wouldn't want to sleep with anyone else anyway,"
"Of course, you should not. You wouldn't get to sleep with me again for eternity if you do so." He huffed.
"Fair argument."
They quietly stood there and viewed the entire scenery on the horizon.
The Mir Mountains expand up to tens and thousands of miles across the lands and most of its territories remain unknown. Yet the two have claimed rulership over the land.
"It is amazing to see how far we have come, my love," Ciaran leaned in to kiss Pier's forehead and the white-haired king nodded in agreement.
"It feels like yesterday when we were still training to suppress the rampage happening in the mountains." Pier then hugged the sheets that were covering his naked body tighter.
"A year had passed since you liberated the vampires from the threat of the monsters too," Ciaran mentioned the time when Pier had finally gained the entire Mir Mountains for the vampires.
It was an adventure that they both would not forget for the rest of their lives because through the rampage, they met each other and created unimaginable memories that came from unexpected events.
