"Jeonghun. Look, I'm really sorry, I'll explain later, but I need to get out of here" you walked in his bedroom feeling guilty, but you were shaking and you couldn't breathe with how much your chest hurt.
"Oh, okay. Are you alright, noona? Are you going back to Seoul?" your dongsaeng asked seeing just how anxious you looked, trying so hard not to hyperventilate. Your make up was a mess by now, but you didn't care.
"Can I take your car? I'll stay at a friend's and probably leave tomorrow" he nodded without hesitation and glanced at Jimin suspiciously, he was standing behind you with your bags.
"I don't need you to kill Jimin, it wasn't him" you commented jokingly, but you were not really laughing. You had noticed your brother was staring at your boyfriend as if he was responsible for whatever was happening to you, silently threatening him.
Jimin put his hand on the small of your back trying to offer some sort of support, but he was racking his brain trying to figure out how to go about this whole thing, so he remained quiet.
After Jeonghun gave you his keys, you told him you'd call him and headed downstairs immediately to leave before your mother could find you and try to stop you. You didn't even know where she had gone, but you weren't going to waste your time finding out.
"Appa, we are leaving" you said goodbye to your dad and he didn't bat an eyelid as he wished you the best and thanked you for visiting them. He shook Jimin's hand and mentioned it was a pleasure to meet him.
"That was easy" Jimin commented surprised at how understanding your father had been.
"He doesn't care" you said dryly and Jimin looked at you expecting some sort of clarification, "he probably didn't even know how long we were staying and assumed this whole thing was in our plans."
Your mom had told him for sure, but she talked about so much irrelevant stuff he most likely hadn't been paying attention after he registered the basic information he needed: your daughter is coming for Jeonghun's birthday.
As you fumbled with the car's keys, Jimin looked at your trembling hands and pressed his lips together.
"Aegi, let me drive" he wasn't sure if you'd be okay with letting him, but you were not in a proper mental state to do it and he'd rather do it himself. He remained calm despite his worrying.
"Okay" you answered and immediately gave him the keys and got out of the car to switch places.
Once he texted Hobi and asked him if his family would mind you two crashing at their place, he started the car and pulled out of the garage and onto the street. His hyung's home was on the other side of town, the drive was dead quiet.
Jimin kept scrunching his nose and touching it as he felt it began to swell, soon enough you'd notice something was wrong with him when there was more light. He was nervous about admitting he had been eavesdropping, even if he had barely heard anything, the little he heard was really bad.
When Hoseok welcomed them, he didn't ask any questions. Jimin had told him something was up even if he hadn't gone into detail. He showed you the guest room downstairs and then headed to his bedroom on the first floor to give you your privacy.
His parents were already asleep and he would do his own thing. His dongsaeng knew that if you needed anything, he'd be up for a while and you could let him know.
Jimin was relieved he hadn't noticed his swollen face, he had tried to keep his head down and make as little eye contact as possible. Hobi was already concerned about whatever was going on and he didn't need more reasons to worry.
