Jimin saw you walking timidly behind an older woman as she accompanied you to the entrance of the building. He was covered from head to toe, dark sunglasses, black mask and peaked beret to hide his face.

"Thank you for coming, Mr..." your boss greeted him, unsure of what your connection to him was.

"Park. Good evening" he answered briefly.

"Feel better soon" she wished you well and made sure you were safe in this man's care before turning around and heading back to the elevator.

You were still looking down, ashamed of this, of how your entire day went. You couldn't look Jimin in the eye, this was the situation only because you had no choice.

He held your upper arms gently and looked at you, hoping you'd make eye contact or say something to him. However, when you didn't after a few seconds, he didn't push it and just wrapped an arm around your shoulders to help you walk back to his car.

As he silently drove to your place, he had one hand on the steering wheel and the other held yours on the armrest in between both seats. He had wanted to offer some comfort, even if only with this small gesture.

You held his hand tightly, these things were more calming to you than you'd ever openly admit to him.

He parked round the corner from your apartment and helped you out as you clumsily got up, still feeling dizzy and not being in total control of your weak body.

After walking in your apartment, he made you sit on the couch and looked for a glass of water for you. Taking a seat next to you after putting it down on the coffee table, he wrapped his arms around you in a warm hug.

"I'm sorry" you muttered guiltily and explained yourself, "they wanted to send me home with someone and I couldn't call anyone else. They wouldn't have understood."

Jimin moved one hand to your head sweetly and kissed it, letting his lips linger as he took in the scent of your hair.

He liked this closeness, more than he'd let himself admit considering he was trying to stick to his resolution of being a friend to you.

"It's okay. I'm glad you called me, noona" he whispered close to your ear as he moved his arm back and around you and you tightened your hold on him slightly. Silently thanking him for what he had done for you.

You stayed like that in silence for a few minutes, both secretly enjoying the contact you craved so much from each other.

Jimin pulled back and you drank the whole glass of water, knowing you probably were dehydrated from being sick all day long.

"What is it that you're feeling? Have you eaten today?" he asked wanting to know exactly why you were unwell.

"I couldn't keep anything down. There's this throbbing headache that's making me feel dizzy and my vision blurry."

"Oh, baby" he said sadly, feeling his chest tighten, "are you still nauseous?"

"It's better" it really was now that he was here and you weren't stuck at the office surrounded by people who gave you weird looks and fueled your anxiety.

"Do you think you can eat some soup? I'll make it myself for you" he asked tentatively, hoping the fact that he was cooking made his offer more tempting. More liquids to rehydrate you and a kind of food to feed you, he thought.

"That would be nice" you smiled a small smile at him, figuring it would be harmless. Thinking about how you wanted to stop feeling miserable and not let this get worse. Jimin smiled satisfied.
