ACE

I took off my varsity jacket and tossed it to the blonde girl that stood at the door of the basement.

"You can leave now." I said to her with a small smile.

I didn't know who she was and frankly I didn't care. Diego brought her and if I knew him well, she would be dead in less than twenty four hours. Like I said it was none of my business.

"Miss me?" I asked the guy tied up to the chair in front of me. He was covered in bruises and dried blood. He slowly lifted his head up and his lips ring glistened under the light that managed to sneak into the basement.

"I've told you, I don't know anything." He said weakly, his voice breaking. "All I did was my job, get close to her, nothing else!"

"I'm finding it hard to believe you." I began to roll up the sleeves of my shirt.

"Please, I'm saying the truth. I've told you all that I know!" He flinched when I moved closer to him.

I gave him a once over. For a gang member he sure was weak and a part of me told me that he was saying the truth but I knew that wasn't true. There was no way he was as innocent as he claimed.

"Look, I have to pick up Olivia in the next ten minutes and I hate being late. So start speaking." I walked toward the table set in the corner of the room, looking carefully at the torture tools on the table for one that was less messy.

It was useless because all of them were bound to get my shirt stained with his blood, no matter how hard I tried. I groaned and made my way to him.

He was about to say something when my fist collided with his jaw. "That's for bombing her car and nearly killing her."

I held his left hand and randomly picked his middle finger. "Now, are you ready to speak?"

"I've told you-"

I snapped his finger causing him to cry out in pain. I waited for his cry to stop before I held his ring finger.

"I said, tell me the truth. Who sent your gang?" I was ready to break his finger again if I didn't hear what I wanted.

"I really don-"

Once again he didn't finish his sentence as I snapped it and he screamed again.

I held his forefinger this time and was about to snap it again but another voice stopped me.

"You should go pick Olivia Ace," Alex said as he descended the stairs. "I'll take it from here."

I looked at the guy I was torturing before letting go of his finger and standing straighter. I gave Alex one last glance before walking out of the basement. I hadn't even closed the door before I heard Alex punch him.

OLIVIA

"Step on it ladies, let's go!" Coach yelled as she continually clapped her hands.
