It's been five days since she kissed Mr Alastair on the cheek and to say she's been avoiding them would be an understatement.

Every time she sees them coming towards her or even just looking at her, she turn the other way and run.

She couldn't believe that she had done such a thing! While four of them aren't her professors, but one of them is, what if he reports her?! What would she do now?!

She'd be so done for!

Her scholarship would be gone, she'd live on the streets, and no place would hire her without a diploma, all her years of hardship would be gone down the drain!

She felt tears in her eyes at the thought of this, what had she done? She ruined her life with her own hands!

She can't bring herself to look at them, even for just a second.

As for the coat, she's never been gifted something so nice and expensive before, she's never been gifted anything at all.

Never had she celebrated her birthday, not that anyone cared, it was always her alone, in the attic that the women in the orphanage gave her, since they too called her a monster.

All because of her eyes.

She loved her eyes, she really did, but sometimes she wondered what she ever did wrong to receive such treatment.

She was never ashamed, since her eyes made her feel beautiful.

But her once bright eyes, full of life and happiness were now dull and empty.

She was a kid, she was always happy, her innocence captivated many, good and bad.

And when bad was involved, her innocence was ruined, shattered, for life.

Her eyes bought attention, some adored her unique colored eyes, and those who did, were little. And some hated them, and their were a lot of people.

Coming to now, it's officially been two weeks since university started, and so far so good, except for the kiss on the cheek part.

She'll just pretend that it didn't happen, and avoid them.

Well as much as she could, that means.

That's hard, especially since she has to sit in the same room as one of them everyday for two hours.

Sure, she had grown close to them, but not this close.

Every time he entered the room he'd lock eyes with her, and every time he did so, their was something new in his eyes that she couldn't quite figure out.

But she'd always avert her eyes from his and just sit quietly in the hall, not looking up once, maybe taking a glance or two when his back was turned.

As soon as the time would end, she'd dash for the door and be the first one out, she called it luck.

But unfortunately, luck was not on her side today.

"Miss Violet." Sweat formed on her forehead when she heard her name being called, and that, by him!

Leisurely, she tuned around and was net with his blank face and cold eyes. Dread filled her when she made eye contact with him.
