In the Hazbin Hotel's lobby, Bendy was sitting with Charlie and Vaggie on the couch, having to be consulted by Chuck for the upcoming event.
Chuck: Are you sure you're okay with this, Sis? I had no idea he was your ex so if you have an issue-
Charlie: It's okay, bro-bro. Normally I'd be annoyed but I trust you when you say he's changed. And considering that I'm married now, I don't have anything to worry about.
Chuck laughed a bit but became slightly tense. Recently, Vaggie had caught him in the middle of a call with his new boyfriend, Seviathan Von Eldritch. After asking Charlie to give him a second chance after finding out he's her ex who broke up with him for cheating, it was an awkward exchange. Though she had long since moved on, that didn't mean that she was looking forward to seeing him again.
Despite rumors and what everyone was willing to say, Sevi was never abusive or violent. Nothing of the sort. However, he was an ignornant, stupid, dickhead the majority of the time. Hell, Bendy hates his father's and his sister's guts, but he never had a grudge with the young royal himself.
And though Charlie did enjoy their time together, it was clear they were very different people. Seviathan did have his sweet moments and had never been TOO evil compared to other demons she had met in hell, but it was clear they wouldn't work together. She had dreams and ideals that he refused to see or match, he refused to change or even look at it from her side of things.
It had been years since high school, so to reconnect now, felt odd. She did not have a good feeling about it whatsoever, she could only guess what Seviathan was planning or attempting to plan, but she didn't like it. Noticing their wife's stress, Bendy and Vaggie hugged her close, kissing both her cheeks. She smiled and giggled at the affection, cuddling back.
Charlie: Thank guys. I have no idea what he's thinking, but I'm glad you'll be here for it.
Vaggie: And from what I've heard about him, he doesn't sound smart enough to pull off anything tricky or sinister. Besides, Bendy and I would totally beat his skinny ass in a fight.
Charlie rolled her eyes as Chuck shook his head.
Chuck: Do I need to strip your weapons away before he gets here?
Bendy: Maybe.
Charlie laughed in return when suddenly a knock was heard at the hotel door. Chuck looked to the door and approached carefully as he reached for the knob. As he opened the door, sure enough, it was the nasty cucumber man himself - Seviathan von Eldritch.
Chuck greeted the noble in delight, roping him into a quick kiss as he escorted him to the others, allowing Charlie to see how much her ex had changed. It wasn't much, in fact his green skin and squinty eyes still made him look like a giant realistic Kermit the Frog and he still had that stupid ass hat, but he gained a bit of muscle mass. If Seviathan really wanted to look nice, a real smile would greatly improve his features.
