"It only took 2 years of loving you
For me to realize it's what I've needed all along
One sentimental moment in your arms
Is like a shooting star going through my heart
The day is always rainy without you
I'm a prisoner, and your love is the key
I'm falling apart all around you
My heart cried out to your heart
I was lonely, but you saved me
Whenever my hand touches your hand
I feel sparks fly
When I'm cold you light the fire in me
My lips search for your lips
I always crave your touch
There's so much left unspoken
And all I can do is surrender to the moment, just surrender
Sometimes, love can hurt so much
And pain is so close to pleasure
But all I can do is surrender, to your love
It only took two years of loving you
For me to realize it's what I needed all along
One sentimental moment in your arms
Is like a shooting star going through my heart
The day is always rainy without you
I'm a prisoner and your love is the key
I'm falling apart, all around you
And all I can do is surrender"

I read out to the guys. "How was that?" I asked them. "That was...wow" Brian said. Roger snickered. "Whattttt?" I pouted.

I was currently at the guys' studio, reading them what I wrote down.

I wanted then to put together a song for Jimmy using my lyrics.

"The lyrics are really good, Brooklynn, but keep in mind we're a rock band." John said. I scoffed.

"You guys are literally every genre... including soul, and romantic which is what I need. Pleaseeee" I begged.

Freddie kept analyzing the lyrics. "Hmm, let's see." He said, grabbing a pen, and changing some things around, throwing around a few "ah ha's" and "mhmm's" here and there.

We all just looked at him for a moment, before he looked at us.

"What? Carry on." He said, dismissing us.

"Look, all I'm saying is, this is a bit complicated, and I don't know if i can help contribute with coming up with anything in the next 3 days." Bri said.

"But do you know how LONG it took me to write that?!" I shouted. Roger just laughed.

"Here, darling." Fred came back, after adjusting a few of my "lyrics".

Just one year of love
Is better than a lifetime alone
One sentimental moment in your arms
Is like a shooting star right through my heart
It's always a rainy day without you
I'm a prisoner of love inside you
I'm falling apart all around you, yeah
My heart cries out to your heart
I'm lonely but you can save me
My hand reaches out for your hand
I'm cold but you light the fire in me
My lips search for your lips
I'm hungry for your touch
There's so much left unspoken
And all I can do is surrender to the moment, just surrender
Yeah
And no one ever told me that love would hurt so much
Ooh, yes, it hurts
And pain is so close to pleasure
And all I can do is surrender, to your love
Ooh, just surrender to your love
Just one year of love
Is better than a lifetime alone
One sentimental moment in your arms
Is like a shooting star right through my heart
It's always a rainy day without you
I'm a prisoner of love inside you
I'm falling apart, all around you
And all I can do is surrender

I just stared at the paper, in shock. "How did you do that so quickly?!" I exclaimed. "It's just a gift I have" he said, cockily. We all just laughed.

"See guys, Freddie has the lyrics down packed, please just help me." I begged.

"Honestly, I can do it all on my own, dear." Freddie told me, causally.

"I mean duh, Fred's an R&B expert! He loves it, and we can all agree it suits him best." Rog tried to compromise.

"I can help too, you know, I'm a bit of a romantic, myself." John added.

I looked at Freddie, who gave me a reassuring smile.

"Okay, that's fine by me! Thank you so much, guys." I hugged them both

"OKAY! Everyone but Brooklynn and John leave the room." Freddie said, clapping at the guys. "We have music to work on." He said, putting emphasis on "music"

"Yeah cough cough Roger and Brian cough cough" I hollered. This got a few chuckles.

I was excited. I felt like part of the band.

"Wait, I need to get my new amp cord out of my car, I'll be right back." John told us, jogging outside.

"I may need you guys for backing vocals, by the way." He told them. They both gestured their ways of saying 'okay/whatever'

After they left, Freddie turned back to me.

"So, first thing's first... how's everything?" He asked. I tried to play dumb. "What do you mean?" I asked.

He gave me a dumbfounded look. "Brooklynn.." he started, before I interrupted.

"Everything's fine, Fred. We knew what happened was way beyond our control, and we know my chances of miscarriages are higher than average."

"I'm still very sorry it happened, Brooklynn." He said, sincerely, giving me a sad smile.

"You have nothing to be sorry for, Freddie." I told him, as my eyes got teary.

John hurried back in, And I then tried to change the subject.

"So the song!" I said, walking over to the piano, playing a sour note.

They both cringed, before we all gathered around
