You're the only one I know who will tell me the truth.

We were at the hospital, and I was pacing back and forth. "Brian she's gonna be alright." Freddie told me, comforting me. "Freddie, that's not the only thing I'm upset about." I told him. "What do you mean?" John asked, curious.

As I opened my mouth to speak, a doctor came out. "Family of Brooklynn Anderson?" He said, which made us stand up. "Is she alright?" I asked. He looked at the four of us. "I meant immediate family."

"I'm her husband." I told him, which made the boys look at me like I was an idiot. I gave them a look, which made them go sit back down.

"Alright, Mr. Anderson-" I interrupted. "Call me Brian." He just continued talking. "We're thinking that she has adenomyosis uteri." He said getting to the point.

Those words broke my heart. That explains the pain she was experiencing, and the heavy bleeding. I shook my head. "No doctor, there's no way." I told him. "She has plenty of siblings," I told him.

"Well, it's characterized by the presence of endometrial glands and stroma within the myome- trium. The etiology of adenomyosis is undetermined. To date, no adequate studies have explored the likeli- hood of a hereditary correlation." He explained.

I just looked at him, confused. "It happens when the cells of the lining of the womb are found in the muscle wall of the womb, and no studies have shown that it's a hereditary condition." He explained, so I could understand it better.

"And there's no cure?" I asked, hopeful. "Well, she can have a hysterectomy" he recommended. That made me sad. "She always wanted to have a big family. They would stick together, and protect eachother." I said, mainly to myself.

The doctor gave me a sympathetic look. "You can go in and see her." He told me. "Have you told her yet?" I asked. He shook his head. "There's still a chance that we're wrong. She'd have to see an OBGYN doctor." He explained. I nodded.

"Only two people are aloud in at a time." He told me, walking away. I made my way over to the boys.

Brooklynn's Point Of View:

I woke up to the sound of knocking, and I already knew I was in a hospital. "Come in." I said, annoyed. It was roger and Freddie. I smiled at them. "Hey, boys." I said, and they both said hi back.

"How are you feelings?" Freddie asked. "Annoyed." I answered. They looked confused. "Annoyed?" Freddie asked. I scoffed.

"Yes! I'm so fucking tired of waking up in a hospital. I already know I'm fine, so there's no point." I told them.

"So the doctor hasn't told you?" Roger asked, with a confused face. He then got smacked in the back of the head by Freddie. I then gave a confused look.

"Tell me what?" I asked. "Nothing, darling. We should go." Freddie said, running out, followed by roger. I was left beyond confused, and anxious. I heard another knock, and this time it was John.

"Hey, Deaky" I said, giving him a frown. "Hey, Brooklynn. I just saw Fred and roger running out, Are you alright?" He asked me, having a seat on my bed. "No, not after what the doctor told me." I said, acting like I knew what the hell they were talking about.

"So you know?" He asked, with sympathetic eyes. It must've been pretty bad, which made me even more nervous. I nodded my head yes. He gave me a hug. "I'm so sorry, Brian has told us how much you've always wanted a big family." He said, and I froze.
