Chapter 41: A Rough Morning

This chapter is a little bit on the short side compared to the last few ones but I liked how this chapter turned out and was at a good stopping point for this to be a chapter. Before we start I just want to thank you all for the support especially for this story since it now has reached past 500k reads which is mind shocking for me. I didn't expect to reach the milestone at all and sorry if this was a bit late, didn't notice until the beginning of the week since I admit, I don't go on here that much only when I have some free time. Other than that I just want to thank you all for the support, I really appreciate it and it's what keeps me working these stories for you, and hope you all continue to stick around for more!

-(Y/N) POV-

"BWAHAHAHAHA!!!" Katsuki laughed out, rolling around her bed as she held her bare stomach, completely lost in her laughter while I stood next to the bed half-naked after coming back from a quick shower as I stared at her, unamusingly.

"Yeah yeah laugh it up." I grumbled out as she calmed down a bit, but still trying to recover.

"Man, what is your luck?!" She wiped the tears from her eyes.

"Tell me about it, her mother just walked in before we could do anything but at least she prevented Ochaco's father from seeing us. God, I don't need a repeat of Shoya's old man." I shivered at the last part and mentally thanked Ochaco's mom for bailing me out from whatever her dad would do to me.

"Hehe, well expect a whole lot of angry dads when you meet them if you continue this trend." She said with a chuckle as I put on my white buttoned-up shirt.

"You know, you're a lot more chill about this than usual. You're not mad?"

"Oh no I'm extremely livid about all this, but I know complaining about it isn't going to do anything so might as well accept, or try to at the fact multiple girls going out with you." She said rather calmly as she sat up from her bed, exposing her bare chest and slightly stretching. "You sure you don't have a second quirk that lets you woo women?"

"At this point in starting to think I do." I rolled my eyes as I fully dressed into my UA uniform. "Anyway, I'm going to the bathroom before we head out to meet the others so you better get ready."

"Yeah yeah I know, just go and meet me downstairs. Though watch out for the old hag, she's been in a very good mood recently." She said as I stared at her confusingly.

"Is that a bad thing?"

"Not when you live with her and it starts to get annoying." She grumbled out in annoyance as I simply chuckled and I couldn't help but agree with her... not the annoying part but more so about her mom being in a better mood recently.

shook my head before I left the room and made my way to the bathroom across the hall.

I entered the bathroom and emptied the tank, letting out a satisfied sigh before flushing and making my way to the sink to brush my teeth with my spare toothbrush, considering the nights I spent here I left myself a toothbrush.  After I brushed my teeth and dried my hands, I stared down at my hands before I closed my eyes, taking a deep breath as I felt a tingling and glowing sensation on my hands. Opening my eyes I saw my hands glow and glitch out before I created two small holographic daggers, pretty basic looking but I created them nonetheless.

"I'm starting to get used to this." I muttered to myself in amazement, though maybe I can find some time to get the hang of this newly found power. But I couldn't help but wonder how I got this new power from Eugene and I can't just go to him or anyone about this, it would probably bring nothing but bad news to me. So for now I need to keep this power at bay and figure out what the hell happened and why it happened in the first place.
