Chapter 51: Double Fun~(Lemon)

Welcome back everyone! After a long wait, I finally updated the book! I just want to say in case you guys have read the announcement in my message I basically took an unannounced hiatus due to me not having the motivation to write for the longest time. But early on when going back and forth I would write ever so little on the chapter but didn't put in the effort until I just stopped, so when I got my motivation back I scrapped the chapter and started over since I didn't like how it was turning up, so pretty much spent the day writing with a few interruptions here and there that took some time away.

I probably would have split this into two chapters but after keeping you waiting I thought I'd make a long one for you all. I will try to update more frequently, I do plan to update 3-4 a month, and just to clarify it's overall so between this story and my Spider-Man(I want to get that story off its heels) I will be going back and forth. Anyway, with that out of the way, I hope you all enjoy this chapter! It's a treat.

-(Y/N) POV-

"Phew! Who would've thought so much studying can really hurt the head." I groaned out, rubbing my forehead as we walked down the busy streets of downtown. After the study session, the whole group went their separate ways or went back home so me and Kyoka decided to hang out for the day and walked downtown to check out any shops that would have anything cool or just kill time. As we walked and made that comment, Kyoka simply snorted while I simply raised a brow at her. "What's funny?"

"Nothing, it's just that sounds weird coming out our mouth instead of someone like Kaminari who's more of an idiot than you." She chuckled, does she consider me an idiot?

"...I take offense to that..." I didn't know what to say honestly as she simply snorted again.

"So what do you want to do now that we're done studying for the day?" She asked as I looked around at all the shops, looks like we're in some kind of outside shopping center of some kind.

"Don't know but since I've never been to this part of the city maybe we can wander around and check out the stores here." I suggested.

"We can do that for a bit before we head back to my place and enjoy the rest of the day before... you know..." She trailed off feeling her cheeks flush up as she wrapped her arms around mine, pressing her body against mine.

"Don't need to rush ourselves, let's just enjoy ourselves and let loose after a good day of studying." I said, earning a soft giggle from her.

"You really don't like studying do you?"

"No I don't not, don't do much of that even when Izumi or my mother tried, I don't put much effort, I do the bare minimum to get by and so far it's been well enough for me. But now that I'm in UA, where any moment I can get kicked out or transferred out of the hero course if I continue to perform poorly in tests, I kinda have to be better at studying if I want to stay."

"That's good to hear you're taking this seriously and willing to put in the work." Kyoka said with a smile.

"Yeah, and I at least take most of what I learn, unlike Kaminari who seems to forget what he just learned." I joked earning a good laugh from her.

"Haha that's so true!" She laughed as we simply talked and laughed together as we walked down the street enjoying each other's company.

We checked out a few shops around the area with the first one being a clothes store which at first didn't seem to interest us and we were about to leave when Kyoka saw they had some rock/punk clothes in the corner of the store that got her attention. We checked out the clothes to see what they have and they actually have a good selection with some cool designs, even went as far to try them on, or at least Kyoka did since she grabbed a few things while I already knew my size and got an iconic Metallica shirt. Luckily Kyoka isn't like most of the girls in putting on the clothes and asking my opinion as she came out a few minutes later with the clothes she's getting. She paid for the clothes though I insisted I get them for her but she wasn't having it as we went back and forth on who was paying for the clothes though I did later back down when she began to threaten me with her earjacks, she can be terrifying if she wants to be. After she paid for the clothes and left the store, we found ourselves in a hobby store where I couldn't help but geek out a bit much to Kyoka's amusement as she wandered off to check the store out. I looked through all the hobby models which all look cool and all but they were quite expensive and didn't really bother as I found myself in the art section of the store and grabbed a new sketchbook since I used up my last one and needed a new one anyway, even grabbing some other art essentials. I met up with Kyoka who was simply looking around waiting for me as we then went up to the cashier, paying for my shift before exiting the store. We went into a few other stores after that but left not much later as there wasn't anything interesting in there, though we did go into an ice cream shop to grab ourselves a scoop as we wandered around. That was when Kyoka spotted what looked to be a music store across the street that immediately got her attention and the next thing I knew was being dragged across the street and into the store which surprised us both from what we saw inside.
