chenle opened his eyes to find himself buried on to someone's neck. he felt the presence of the fluffball in his hands, who was fast asleep. he squirmed out of the unknown person's grasp, only to find himself sleeping with the junior.
he tried to get out of the bed so as to start the now late evening, but a certain hand on his waist was not letting him move an inch. he looked at the sleeping boy to see him frowning subconsciously, not ready to let him go.
chenle snickered to himself as he pried jisung's hand off of his waist and immediately jumped out the bed, hoping silently that he didn't wake up. he turned back to see jisung cuddling with daegal because of the sudden lack of warmth surrounding him.
he looked out the window to see that it was later than he expected; the sky has already tinged a dull hue of orange and pink, almost changing into a deep midnight hue. he grabbed his phone and checked the time to see that it was 8 in the late evening; way too late for him.
"ugh...why did i think of sleeping before..." chenle groaned to himself as he rolled his eyes. sleeping before 9 in the night was not for him; he was an early bird, not a night owl. helping himself that night was a stupid idea now that his sleep cycle was ruined.
the sudden ringing of a phone that is not his jolted him out of his trance. the phone rang for a good 30 seconds, and for some reason, jisung was still asleep, cuddling with daegal.
chenle looked at the contact out of curiosity and saw that it was jisung's mother calling him.
he looked back to the cute blonde still sleeping, completely oblivious of the whole situation. should he interfere? his mind raced as he thought of what to do.
as his roommate, he knew he had to tell her that jisung is fast asleep and he might not wake up for the next 15 minutes or something. but at the same time, it's his privacy, and he should not interfere in that.
the boy still didn't faze at the sound ringing his ears. he had to interfere.
he took the phone and sighed. "uh, hello? this is jisung's roommate speaking. he's really asleep right now, i'll tell him to call back the moment he wakes up."
"wait, are you actually his roommate? you sound like a girl to me..."
"i'm not..." chenle trailed off as he groaned at the misunderstanding. most people somehow, mistake him for a female because he was a cross-dresser and had a high pitched voice. he opened his mouth to explain, but she cut him off.
"oh thank heavens! he finally got a girlfriend! and that too as his roommate!"
"no, wait-" he was cut off by the woman again, much to his disappointment. "why didn't he tell me this before, he really does love keeping everything a secret. anyways, what's your name, dear?"
he sighed as he gave up on trying to explain. "chenle...and i'm still not-"
"oh, cute name! i guess you're not from here, are you? i guess he has a thing for transfer students. anyways, i'll be hanging up, i have to tell this to his dad. goodbye!"
before chenle could say anything, she hung up, leaving him completely confused yet horrified. now that she thought that he was the junior's 'girlfriend', he had to confront him about this and hopefully, he won't get pissed at him.
either way, he was screwed.
🍂
jisung woke up to the absence of the female cuddling with him a few hours ago, leaving only him and the bichon. he saw the drawing room's lights were on, so he woke up and walked over to the room, only to see chenle stressed out, his left hand supporting his forehead.
"uh, you fine, noona?" he asked at the senior, who almost freaked out at his voice.
chenle jumped out of the couch and grabbed his hands with trembling fingers, tears falling out of his eyes. "i'm sorry..." he spoke out feebly. "i'm sorry for everything, and now you have to suffer me as your partner..."
jisung tried to console him, but was failing miserably. he had never seen chenle cry or melt in the 2 days of meeting him. "uh, i-it's fine, please don't cry, alright? and besides, what do you mean? did something wrong happen?"
"w-well...your mom called and since you were really asleep...i took the call...and since i sound like a girl...your mom thought i was your girlfriend..."
awkward silence grew in the room as he let all of...whatever that was, sink in.
"wait, you're not a girl?!" he freaked out as he let go of chenle's hands. "i'm so sorry i called you a noona all this time! i'm so sorry hyung..."
"you thought i was a girl all this time...?" chenle asked in an annoyed tone, much to his dismay. "it's fine. most people think i'm a girl until i tell them i'm not. and most of them have almost the same reaction as you."
"wait if you're not a girl...then why the clothes...?" jisung looked up and down at chenle's seemingly feminine clothes— a frilly blue dress— in complete confusion.
"it's called cross-dressing and it's a preference, dumbass," chenle said angrily at him. "i'm a guy who prefers 'female' clothes over 'male.' if you can't accept that, i swear, i'll break your neck."
"oh lord, hyung, please don't kill me!" jisung cowered in pure fear, arms covering his face as a shield. "i swear i won't judge you!"
chenle looked down hopelessly at the boy, surprised that he was actually scared of his threats. he sighed as he crouched down, pulling him into a gentle embrace. "i was just joking, alright...? i won't actually try to hurt you."
everything stopped for jisung when he felt the senior embrace him. he accepted the embrace, trembling hands wrapping around his waist as it was forever awkward for him to accept a loving gesture from the one person whom he voyeured upon, had wet dreams about, and jerked off to.
chenle broke the awkward hug as he smiled at him. he stood up and helped him up, sighing at the mistake he did. "you...still realize i'm your partner in front of your parents, right?"
"wait, what the fuck did you just say?!"
a/n:...should i just discontinue this book? i think no one exactly likes the starting, and i suck at starting books.
it's your wish, and it's fine if you hate my writing, i'll just stop. just say the word, that's all :)
