the two were in each other's arms for as long as chenle remembers, and as he expected, they were doing more than just considered as mere cuddling; the younger practically leaving kisses everywhere on his body.
their private time was once again, ruined by the ring of the doorbell. chenle woke up first, already pissed off at his best friend's endeavours, so he jumped out of the bed, grabbed his clothes and stomped out of the room, leaving jisung alone.
"ugh, he already told you, nana, leave us alone..." chenle trailed off, his voice plummeting as the door opened, revealing two people...not exactly his coffee-addicted best friend. "o-oh, uh, h-hyungs! why are you here all of a sudden?"
"well, shouldn't we able to come over here whenever we want?" renjun said in an abnormally cold voice, something that evoked fear in him. "or are we not welcome here?"
that...definitely was not his normal demeanour. mark tried to calm him down and told him to not cause any problems, but he was adamant. chenle definitely did something wrong, but he just couldn't pinpoint whatever that was.
"i suppose...you don't want to talk to me right now..." chenle nervously chuckled, tears threatening to come out of his eyes. "i'll call him, he was sleeping all this time."
he let the two in as he immediately walked inside his room, getting a glimpse of mark scolding renjun on his behaviour. chenle closed the door, confusing jisung as he looked at his almost petrified expression.
"lele? is there something wrong?" jisung asked in his usual comforting voice, which calmed chenle down just enough for him to explain what exactly happened.
"i-i don't know...gege's pissed off at me for some reason, but i just don't know why," chenle stuttered, burying his face to the younger's neck. jisung caressed him wordlessly as he let him calm down for a good five seconds until the two heard his voice angrily asking the two to come out.
jisung emerged out of the room, with chenle clutching his hand in fear. he sat opposite to the two as chenle followed suit, confused at the sudden serious anger from renjun. "everything alright, junnie-hyung...?"
"well, of course i am not, but that's not my problem here," renjun frowned at the two. "i have a problem with your girlfriend...if she's even your girlfriend in the first place."
that sentence was enough for both of them to immediately go into panic mode.
"h-hyung...she is my girlfriend, this is not a pretend relationship at all! there is no use lying to you, nor will i ever lie to you!" jisung said, knowing clearly that the latter half of the sentence was completely wrong.
renjun sported a disgusted look at jisung, still not believing in his claims. "i thought you were against your mom's ideals and gave more importance to your studies. i have a hard time believing that, especially since something else your beloved hyung told me."
"w-what do you mean...?" chenle's normally (or abnormally) loud voice that could be heard a mile away, is barely an audible whisper, his confidence disappearing into thin air.
chenle's voice was enough to fuel renjun's anger twice as intensely as he had ever been. he stood up and grabbed his jaw, startling everyone, although mostly jisung. "do you think you could just get away with making a fool out of both of us, let alone his parents?!"
"hyung, what the fuck are you doing?!" jisung cried out, grabbing his wrist. "and what do you mean by 'making a fool' out of you two?"
renjun let go, his anger still not subsiding. chenle was practically terrified of the turn of events that happened, until a pang of inexplicable guilt took over him as he drooped his head down, wondering what exactly he did wrong.
