jaemin paced up and down, his hands full with his phone, talking to a plethora of people while cladding a very grave tone to his voice. all he wanted was to help his friend who is now a college dropout due to the potential of depression, someone whom jaemin would kill for, and he would have certainly killed his own ex-friend who caused him this problem in the first place.

jisung, on the other hand, had nothing else to do rather than stare at jaemin longingly like a lost puppy. jaemin barred him from using his phone for the little time he could stay in the dorms because jaemin noticed he was looking at pictures of him and chenle together and practically drowning in sadness along with it, and he did not want that at all.

jaemin finally hung up the different calls he was getting as he looked at the pitiful condition of the younger, with a vaguely delighted smile curling his lips. he took a seat next to jisung and started to explain. "i had called up johnny-hyung and he agreed to help us, so he had transferred some money to you. just...don't tell this to taeyong-hyung or kun-hyung, alright?"

"a-alright..." jisung spoke out, albeit confused on what was actually happening, but was really grateful for jaemin's help nevertheless. having so many hyungs who baby him to no end whatsoever might sound annoying for some, but for him, they are a fortune because they will do anything to help out their youngest.

it's almost as if he does not deserve their affection and love as he is just throwing it away like it was nothing.

"now...before your dumbass starts overthinking, i'll can assure you, this is for your own good. just because you could not pursue your education as it is killing your mental health, doesn't mean you don't deserve your hyungs. hell, most of them did not even finish college, except for kun-hyung and ten-hyung. so quit the self-blame."

jaemin's voice jolted jisung out of his thoughts as he looked up to see a stoic yet annoyed jaemin, his hands crossed like if he just brought a bad grade home. "h-how...did you..." jisung trailed off as he was at a loss of words, at the statement that jaemin somehow came up using telekinesis.

"looks i do know you well enough," jaemin snickered triumphantly, proud of himself for clearly reading through the younger's train of thought. "anyways, you better start moving because there's not really enough time left before someone sees you here. are you sure that you don't need help with finding a place?"

"no, it's alright, hyung...i can manage it," jisung defended himself, not wanting to bother the older any longer. jaemin was not exactly convinced by that, but decided to let it go since he knows that even if jisung's a literal toddler at times, he does have a sense of independence as he practically lived alone at times with no problems whatsoever.

jisung immediately pulled his bags and swung them around his shoulder effortlessly, approaching the doorway, much to jaemin's confusion. "you're leaving already...?" he queried, worried sick for the younger.

"i'm pretty sure it's already time for classes and i don't want you get into trouble," jisung explained as he nodded in the affirmative. "s-see you later...i guess."

and with that said, he shut the door quite loudly, leaving jaemin alone before he could speak out a word. apparently, the noise also brought jeno up from his sleep, completely annoyed at who the hell was doing construction in the dorms. he walked towards the door, only to see his boyfriend staring blankly at the door.

"what happened...?" jeno slurred out, his sleep still adamant in his system.

"jisung came here," jaemin supplied. "bitch decided to drop out and now he's finding a job and trying to live on his own. poor thing, he really broke down after their break up."
