"2 million won?! hyung, are you nuts?!"

johnny's expression deadpanned in the phone screen as he fell silent at jisung's astonishment. "what's so wrong with 2 million won? you now have enough to take care of yourself, ji."

"b-but...i didn't need that much..." jisung trailed off, still concerned about johnny's little bad habit of spoiling him to no end. "i just need a bit of money so that i could get a dorm to live and get a job..."

"you? getting a job? that won't happen in my watch. i'll be sending you money until you're stable enough. you're still a little baby, sungie..."

"hyung, i..." jisung fell silent as he let out a groan, mentally facepalming to himself in the process. having no choice, he reluctantly agreed to his hyung's idea. "alright...just...don't tell this to ten-hyung, please..."

"don't worry about that, ten's away for a while, so he won't know. take care of yourself, alright?"

jisung hummed in the affirmative, albeit his voice was questioning and faltering. after johnny hung up, he sighed annoyedly, guilt bubbling up inside him that now his hyung has to work harder to send him a generous amount for his needs.

he glanced at the busy cul-de-sac he now is residing on, live with zooming vehicles and people walking in feverish paces, whilst the sky was gradually turning dark as the seconds go by, causing more lights to be switched on in the buildings.

his eyes wandered to a particularly tall building quite far off at a distance. curiosity peaked inside his mind as he wondered, how all of his problems could just disappear in an instant if he just let himself fall from the top-

"sungie! i finally found you, thank the heavens..."

jisung turned back to see jaemin running towards him, losing his breath progressively as he did. raising an eyebrow at jaemin, he queried. "what are you doing in here, hyung? johnny-hyung already sent me the money..."

"i know," jaemin deadpanned, a hint of sadness evident in his voice. "i...wanted to tell you something else...it's...really important although i don't think you want to hear about it..."

curiosity bubbled up inside jisung as his mind wandered to what exactly jaemin was insinuating. what problem does he even have that is so important yet repulsive to turn to? chenle was already gone, and he dropped out. what else now?

"it's...about chenle..." jaemin spoke out laboriously, not wanting to hurt the younger anymore. "i know...this is hard to understand...but there's something he's trying to hide from you."

"so what? he decided to cut ties, so i don't care about him anymore," jisung retorted, the stutter he normally has had vanished completely. "leave it, hyung, we're not together, and i don't want to signpost that to you every single time we talk."

jaemin fell silent at the younger's sudden anger towards him, albeit it was momentary. he knew, more than anyone else that jisung was angry at himself, not chenle. knowing clearly how his mindset worked, jaemin deduced that he was still questioning himself whether he did anything wrong.

and he did not do anything wrong, it was all just a misunderstanding. jaemin wanted oh-so-badly to convince him that truth, but he chose not to believe him.

"i know you both broke up, but still, you should know this since you're part of this...situation," jaemin deadpanned, gathering all his residual courage. "sungie...he's pregnant. with your child."

for a moment, jisung felt like the world stopped around him as he felt like he was glitching. he stared at the older horrendously for a good 10 seconds before he spluttered out, "say what now?!"

"i know it's hard to believe, but yes, he's actually pregnant. he was trying so hard to hide it from everyone, but i won't let that happen. that's why i searched the whole street for a damn hour to find your ass," jaemin stated, his expression stoic and sane unlike his usual self.

jaemin's words ringed in jisung's ears as he felt like he was going insane. his vision blurred as he tried to make sense on whether he heard him correctly...until he fell into a sudden syncope and collapsed on the road.

"oh lord, not again! this bitch i swear i'm going to kill him once he wakes up..." all he heard was jaemin's voice before everything fell into a complete blur.

chenle sighed as he came out of the bathroom, wearing nothing but a towel wrapped around him like a human burrito, his hair partially soaked and stringy. his eyes wandered to see jisung, who was covering the bed with a plethora of plushies, much to his confusion.

"hyung...what is this...?" chenle asked, scratching his head as he tried to make some sort of sense with the older's antics.

"oh, this? it's your bed, and i'm just giving you a small little gift..." jisung trailed off as he carefully placed one last plushie on an ever-increasing fluff pile like it was the cherry on top of a sundae. he turned back to see chenle, and immediately backed off, chuckling nervously as he did. "ah, s-sorry, i didn't notice you..."

"i don't...think is a small little gift though..." chenle trailed off as he watched one of the plushies of the very top of the pile tumble down to the floor, much to jisung's annoyance. "why the plushies...? i don't get it..."

"ah, you see...wookjin loves plushies, especially when he was carrying bae. he really loves using them as weapons though..." jisung beamed wholesomely, his mind wandering to memories of wookjin using said plushies as a leverage to pull him into a kiss sometimes. "i thought it might work for you too, since you're really reminiscent of him."

(a/n: yes ik, it was a pillow, but plushies are cuter and kinda cancels out onlyoneof's questionable stuff :>)

"yeah...but, this many plushies?! you didn't have to buy this many...hyung..." chenle pouted, a slight pang of guilt coursing through him as he did.

"actually, these were wookjin's old plushies, and he had a lot, and i mean, a lot of them," jisung supplied, much to the younger's relief. "i don't even know how he slept on the bed with this when he kicked me out..."

"wookjin-ge's kinda eccentric, i mean, i'm not even surprised at this point..." chenle giggled. "he even choked himself with a piece of tape before! what even goes inside of his head, oh lord..."

"uh, a-actually...i was the one who choked him with the piece of tape..." jisung stuttered as he was practically caught red-handed. "it was...during one of our...private times..."

awkward silence fogged the air as chenle's mouth was partially open in disbelief. welp, his eccentric gege found himself an equally eccentric husband, and he should not be even surprised in the slightest bit.

"and i thought gege was the weirdest of all..." chenle commented amusingly. "anyways...i think that's enough plushies, or probably, too much plushies..."

chenle carefully paced out of the bathroom, and almost instinctively, jisung approached him, wrapping his hands around his stomach gently, so as to protect him from any falls and slips. both of them stared at each other in silence...until jisung realized what exactly he was doing.

jisung let go of his hands feverishly, backing off as a string of apologies left his lips. "i...i-i'm sorry, i'm just a bit wary of you falling down and all..." his head drooped down.

"it's fine hyung...at least i won't be hurting myself accidentally..." chenle chuckled as he pat his shoulder, beaming wholesomely as he did. "but, uh, i need to change..."

"oh, uh, right..." jisung trailed off as he turned to the door. "i hope you like those plushies..."

with that said, he shut the door, leaving chenle all alone. he sighed in relief as he chuckled at the insane amount of plushies, while thinking to himself about how exactly he was going to shimmy his way into his bed without letting all the plushies fall like snow from a roof pipe.
