Eventually we reach the Grubbs household and John B turns off the engine as I hop out. The boys follow behind me as I approach the house.
"Know what this house looks like?" JJ asks.
"Whoever lives here smokes too much weed" He answers himself.
"I don't know. I think it's cute" I hum, scanning the colourful residence.
As we get closer to the house I hear the sounds of yelling and loud clattering coming from inside.
"Bullshit!" A man's voice barks.
"Maybe we should come back. It's a little too soon" JJ suggests, grabbing my wrist.
"No, no, shut up. Shut up, JJ" John B snaps.
"Tell me where it is, or i'll fuck you up!" A man screams and I hear Lana gasping.
"I'll sink you in the fucking-" The mans voice is cut off when a loud crash echoes through the air and Lana lets out an ear piercing scream.
"You're hurting me!" She cries and I flinch, causing JJ to intertwine our fingers and give my hand a reassuring squeeze.
"I-" JJ starts to protest but he's cut off.
"Shut up. Come on" John B orders.
"Where the fuck is it, you bitch?!" The man roars angrily as JJ tugs me towards the house.
"I don't know!" Lana sobs loudly making my heart break for the woman.
"Is it here in this house?!" The man growls.
"Is it somewhere else?!" He adds before the sound of crashing continues.
John B tries to peek through the window and JJ reacts fast, swiftly yanking me forward and pulling John B down. The three of us crouch with our backs pressed to the side of the house and my heart hammers against my chest in worry.
"Still think we should stay?" JJ hisses at John B.
"John B, I don't like this" I whine, fear running through my veins.
"The compass wasn't in the boat! Where is it, Lana?!" The man yells.
"I don't know!" She pleads and my breathing speeds up.
The sounds of smashing glass and screams of pain unlock a wave of unwanted memories and my body starts to shake, but then I feel an arm wrap me into a side hug.
"Don't listen" JJ tells us and I frown, realising I'm not the only one this is probably triggering.
I grab the blonde's hand and give it a reassuring squeeze, smiling at him softly. He smiles back and rubs my shoulder comfortingly. There's a thud on the other side of the wall and we're all showered in white flakes.
