"She just needs to rest  for a few minutes. She'll come around" Nygard tells us "Come in. Have a seat"

John B heads into the kitchen with him, turning to see if I'm following and he pauses when he sees me still sat next to Sarah.

"Come on, Vie" He tries to coax me.

"I don't wanna leave her" I tell him and he nods in understanding.

He closes the kitchen doors behind him and I'm left alone with my sister. I take her hand in mine and gently rest my head on her shoulder, letting my eyes close.

As I'm laying in silence, listening to Sarah's breathing and John B's muffled voice, something touches my hair. I lift my head to see that it's my sister, staring at me with a soft smile on her face.

"Hey, brat" She breathes out.

"Welcome to the land of the living, barbie" I smile at her warmly.

She sits up with a wince and I jolt up in surprise as she uses my shoulder to help her off the table.

"Sarah, you have to rest" I scold her.

"We have to go" She argues.

"You were shot, you idiot. Lay down" I snap at her.

"No. We have to get out of here, Sylvie" She declares, grabbing the bag of liquid attached to her IV.

She stumbles towards the kitchen and I race after her, grabbing her arm to pull it around my neck. The kitchen doors swing open, causing Nygard and John B to look up at us in surprise.

"Whoa, little lady!  You need to go lie down" Nygard tells her as John B jumps to his feet.

"How long did I sleep?" Sarah questions.

"Not long enough" John B answers without actually answering her question.

"Can we still make it?" She asks.

"No. No. We- It's over. Okay?" John B tells her.

"No, it's not" She protests.

"Sarah-" John B tries to reason with her but she notices the clock on the wall.

"We still have an hour" She states matter of factly.

"You need to rest. You just got shot?" John B snaps.

"That's what I said" I add.

"I am fine. We're going" She declares firmly, leaving no room for argument.

"I guess we're going then" I chirp, patting my sister's back.

I help a very determined Sarah to the door while Nygard and John B trail behind us, we head down the stairs and Sarah removes her arm, stable enough to hold her own weight as we walk through the bar.
