Then I wrapped a towel around the waist. I gasped when I saw my reflection in the mirror. My lip was swollen and bruises covered my entire body. I felt so disgusting and ugly. I put on makeup to covered it.
I went out and Kevin had woke up. "Oh Adam, I'm so sorry." he said. "It's okay." I replied. "I promise it won't happen again." he said. "I'm fine Kevin, I swear." I replied. He smiled softly and gave me a hug. "I love you." said Kevin. "I love you too." I replied. He stroked my cheek and I winced. "I'm late for work." I said.
"How about a romantic dinner tonight with red wine and classic music?" he asked. "A romantic dinner sounds wonderful." I said. "You'll love it." replied Kevin. "I'm sure I will." I said.
