We went to the commen room and met other people who had been victims of abuse. I sat down on the couch with Max and gave her a present. "To my darling." I said softly. She opened her gift and held up a doll. "I love her, thank you so much dad." she replied happily and hugged me. "You're welcome honey." I said and kissed the top of her head.

"We'll always be together?" asked Max and lay down in her bed. "Of course sweetie, I'll never leave you." I said calmly. "I love you daddy." she replied and hugged me. "I love you too and one day we will be free. Then we'll travel far away." I said with a smile on my face.
