In the dark of night the city is asleep. Everyone is in their homes, in their warm beds, resting without any worries. The roads are dark and lonely, leaving the cold night breeze to roam the unhappy streets.
Everything seems asleep and sad, as if time has stood still, although the opening of the festival is fast approaching, no one is wandering the dark colored streets.
Indeed, the silence dominates all parts of the city, but there is an exception.
In an almost forgotten neighborhood, is a huge building that takes place as a base for a dangerous organization that is wanted by the police.
In that building, where there are more people than usual, there is a total commotion. A sound of a gun echoed in a room, the sound reaching the next floor, causing many people to ask questions.
A boy feared by many is the center of the attention, he is also the one who caused the sound of the gunfire to be heard in the building.
Although everything went too fast for you to realize what was happening, the girl looked at the boy so intently that she could not blink.
As the gloved palm of the man sitting next to her descended on her back, she could not take her eyes off the boy in whom she had put her own life to the risk.
Senju watched as his gaze darkened from second to second, being about to do something impulsive, about to risk his own life just to come and get that man next to her far away from her body.
Looking at him, a trace of hope grew in her, knowing that he had not lied to her and that he would get her out of there.
Her heart started pounding in her chest and she didn't know why. Something inside Senju told her it was because of the boy in front of her who had become devoted to her, trying to get her out of this confusing and dangerous situation.
But still, the girl didn't want this to be the cause of her little heart that is about to ran away, she would blame the adrenaline, maybe even fear just not to say it was because of him.
Senju looked into his eyes, though his gaze was not on her, she looked at him waiting to see what would happen next.
And what followed surprised and frightened her very much. Without blinking she looked. She watched as the boy raised his left hand, gripping the gun and then pulling it away from his own temple.
Then a sound of gunfire could be heard, the person's body falling relentlessly on the floor, the boy now ponting his gun at the man next to her.
It had all happened very quickly, but she had been the only one who could see what had really happened, and what had happened earlier made her goosebumps.
Mikey was sitting next to the lifeless masked person who had previously had him on his little finger, holding the gun, aimed at the boss, his eyes not losing sight of the man next to her.
No less after hearing the gun, the office room opens, and in front of the door are only four individuals preparing to enter.
However, they stopped when they noticed the situation in the room. Their boss was in a bad situation and they didn't know what to do.
Even though there were more of them, they didn't know what Mikey could do, after all he was a very unpredictable person, so they couldn't risk their boss's life.
"Go back where you came from and close the door on your way, if you don't want me to blow his brain out of his head."
Mikey's voice was clear and imposing in the silent room. They wanted to refuse at first, but after seeing their colleague sitting on the floor in his own pool of blood, they gave in. They took small steps, letting the door slam shut as they left, leaving silence in their path.
"Get away from her right now."
After the boy gave the order, it didn't take long for it to be fulfilled. The masked man now standing, leaning against the desk.
Mikey approached the girl's body slowly, without pulling his gun away from the man, then he knelt beside the girl, his right hand helping her out of the bag and the ropes that held her captive.
When he succeeded, he rose to his feet as he approached the desk, leaving her there until he thought of how to get her out of there.
But still, he could use her a little, for the purpose of both, in the end as soon as he took possession of the building he would get her out of there.
"Go and release them."
He didn't have to say it twice, she was already heading for Kakucho, untying the rope around him so she could release him.
After she succeeded, the two went to the next one until they were all standing, surrounding the room.
"Surrender, you have nowhere to run. You lose."
It was as if his words did not reach the individual's ears because he began to laugh so hard that he had to support himself on the table so as not to fall.
Mikey looked at him in disgust, Ran and Rindou cracked their fingers ready for a fight, Sanzu had already taken a pill out of his pocket.
Kakucho was waiting to receive an order from him, Takeomi was grinning and Mochizuki was looking calmly waiting for a sign that would tell him to intervene.
Senju had approached Mikey after helping the others, sitting somewhere close to his back, but still having a distance between them.
Suddenly the office door opens and several masked guys invade the room with all kinds of baseball rackets in their hands and coming towards them.
The six reacted quickly, also entering the fight, trying to keep the masked guys as far away from Mikey as possible.
Sanzu had already jumped at two of them, hitting them as he headed for the next one, grabbing a baseball rackets from the floor and starting to hit with it around the room, you could say he was trying to kill a fly.
Ran and Rindou used their own fists, keeping their backs to each other, hitting as many people as possible.
Kakucho and Takeomi had once left the room, now taking care of those in the hall. And Mochizuki took care of those who came either by the stairs or by the elevator, leaving a pile of people in front of each entrance.
Mikey, on the other hand, was trying to explain to the other guy that he should surrender, but to no avail. Even if it wasn't in his nature to let anyone who had annoyed him leave, Mikey wouldn't kill him right now because he knew the girl was still in the room and watching him.
When he wasn't paying attention, someone had slipped behind him, ready to attack him.
Mikey tried to avoid the blow before receiving it, but it would still come, because he had reacted too late. But he had felt no blow or pain on him, after a while he turned his gaze, looking behind him.
The man with the baseball racket was lying on the ground annihilated, and behind him was the girl.
Senju, not leaving the room, saw what was happening and, without thinking, acted on instinct. She rushed at the attacker, kicking him, letting him fall to the ground.
When she looked up so she could look at the boy, Senju expected a shocked or even contemptuous look. But when she saw the grin on his lips and his proud look, her heart began to run again.
Now she could no longer come up with excuses, his proud look made her feel what she was feeling now.
The two stared at each other for a while, unaware of what was going on around them, at that moment only the two of them mattered.
But something caught the boy's attention, causing him to look up from her eyes, then move it somewhere behind her.
The earlier twinkle in his eye had disappeared with his smile, and her heartbeat stopped when she heard the gunfire coming from behind her.
When the sound was heard, everything stopped in time for both of them.
