He made himself more comfortable in the chair. Being ready to tell what had happened to him since he left the two to go on without him. He looked at them once more but was very sorry for himself.
Everyone was looking at him as if they were waiting for their father to read them a storybook, he really couldn't read the seriousness on their faces.
"If you really want to know, I'd appreciate it if you could be more serious."
They all nodded, their faces unchanged.
Mikey sighs to himself, Ran seeing this and thinking their boss is tired he gets up from his chair, motioning for Mikey to sit down, then sits down between his brother's legs, his back resting on the chair.
Mikey sits down satisfied with Ran's maturity, making himself comfortable looking at them again.
Takeomi looked at him worriedly, Mochizuki brought him a glass of water, Sanzu and Ran had a not-so-beautiful look competition, Rindou joked about them.
Angry Mikey punches the chair, keeping quiet in the room, silencing everyone. Everyone was looking at him, surprised by his behavior, this time beginning much more carefully than before.
"If you're done, you can let me continue with what I have to say. If I don't say anything now, you'll say I'm lying again."
"Please Mikey, tell us what you have to say, we'll listen to you and we won't interrupt."
"Thank you Takeomi, now be careful, I will not repeat again what I had to say, once again for those who are not listening."
These words were addressed more to those who were now sitting on the ground, paying more attention to their silly games than what was going on around them.
"As I said, I went to the place where Kokonoi was attacked. I know I said I was going to see someone I knew and I lied, I wanted to go there alone without putting anyone in danger of getting hurt or worse."
"It wasn't like something was going to happen, you should trust us more."
Sanzu growled at Mikey, and the room was silent again. Takeomi wanted to say something, but stopped when Mikey motioned for him to keep quiet.
You say that no one will interrupt me, Mikey say to himself.
"If I had so much confidence in you, I wouldn't have gone to the hospital this morning, or seen Kokonoi lying in bed, stabbed.
If I had so much confidence in you, I knew all this was not going to happen, but look, it got here, and it's true that you couldn't do anything about it."
Mikey was very calm no matter what words he chose.
On the other hand, Sanzu and the two brothers were looking down, as if the white tiles on the floor were much more interesting all of a sudden.
That being said, Mikey hadn't blamed them.
If he made them fight harder without guns or if he told them where he always went every morning, maybe that wouldn't happen.
Looking at the table where the evidence of what happened two days ago was sitting, Mikey was sure, even if they weren't following him, they would still get somewhere where they would meet those guys for sure.
"Continuing with what I said earlier, when I got there I first found the bloodstain, it was as he described, being pushed towards the back of the alley, there I found it.
It was at the level of the abdomen and it was still going down the wall, most likely Kokonoi had lost a lot of blood, unable to stand."
Mikey says, pointing to the picture on the coffee table in the living room where the phone was. Everyone was paying attention, taking every piece of information.
