It was past midnight and the silence around them was kind of good but bad at the same time. It was a good thing no one noticed the two people who were dead plus the third who was struggling to stay alive in her arms.

It was too bad though that there was no one to help Senju and Mikey, who somehow had become paler than before and that was really quite scary if she sat and thought about it.

Senju's gaze fell down to the boy, who was now laying with his head in her lap, sitting as still as if he were dead. But it wasn't true, Mikey was alive, Senju knew that because her hand didn't leave the boy's neck from the moment he hit the ground.

She had to take his pulse, to know that he was still alive and give the girl hope and help her think rationally, she had to find a plan to act, because she had to act, it was necessary.

One thing was for sure, she couldn't call for an ambulance and go to the hospital. By the time they got there the police would be there before them. Mikey was a well-known person around the police stations so she didn't stand a chance with the ambulance.

Senju was looking down at his face, stroking his white hair that was damp from sweat. Something fell on his white cheeks and when Senju realized what it was, her hand stopped.

Being so focused on what she had to do she didn't notice when tears began to flow, falling down his pale cheeks and his still closed lids that weren't going to open anytime soon.

She quickly raised her hands and passed them over her face. She wasn't going to cry now that Mikey was still in critical condition. She have to be strong for him. He was there for her and now is her turn.

The first thing Senju should start with is taking the boy somewhere soft and clean. If she left him in the grass much longer his wound would get infected and that was not a good thing. That much she knew too.

Taking her hands from around his shoulders, not feeling his pulse anymore, the girl then placed them under his arm and then stood up with him. She couldn't get him to his feet so she had to drag him into the house.

His feet left a small trail behind him and Senju hoped it wasn't one of blood. She hoped it was a streak of sand from normal causes. But even she didn't believe that excuse.

She didn't want to wake up tomorrow morning when the sun was shining in the sky and the garden behind her was visible. And hoped no one would knock on her door saying she brought an injured human here, or worse they would call the police thinking she had killed someone.

Senju had stopped in her tracks halfway down the road. She had only thought of Mikey but the good question is if they were caught was, what she could do with the two dead guys, one of them right in her garden.

Although she had seen many movies, around her house she could not find any lake and nothing to put the bodies in and no rocks big enough for the bodies to reach the bottom and not float.

After all these guys are criminals so whoever sent them or a friend wasn't going to call the police and tell them that their friends who were supposed to kill someone didn't come back.

But she still had to do something with the bodies. The one on the roof was better hidden and it wouldn't be seen unless you knew how to look but the one in her yard was a big deal.

It was probably one in the evening now and there were five hours until the sun would rise. She could think of anything another time, until now the most important thing was that Mikey lived, that was her responsibility. Senju would think of something else for the other two.

Reaching the three small steps that led to the back patio she climbed them carefully making sure she didn't trip. With her back she opened the door that had closed earlier when she was far from where she should have gone.
