The building that looks like it has been abandoned for ten years has become crowded. Before, everything seemed quiet, but now if you approached it from five meters you could hear all kinds of sounds.
Inside was an indescribable commotion, the screams of people, their bodies falling to the ground, gunshots and heavy footsteps.
This time, due to the commotion, the sound of a gun had not been heard as loud in the room as the first fire that had created chaos.
Before the person used the weapon, everything seemed to be fine, the fight was in Boten favor.
But when Mikey saw a masked person standing in the doorway of the office, holding a gun in his hand, the weapon pointed at the girl's heart, something was wrong.
Before the gunfire could be heard Mikey was smiling at the girl, he was smiling for the first time in a long time, but it seems that someone wanted to take that smile away from his face too.
Without thinking, he acted hurriedly.
Running towards the girl, he pushed her aside, moving her from the direction of the bullet, which was coming quickly towards her.
When he pushed her, he used all his weight to fall on her and protect her. The girl, on the other hand, did not know what would happen to her if the boy did not save her in time.
Most likely if he didn't save her, she would now be in a pool of blood, staring at the ceiling and wondering how she ended up in a situation like this, even though she already knew the answer.
But fortunately nothing had happened and she would survive. When Senju saw Mikey take his eyes away from her and see how his proud gaze had changed radically, she thought it was her fault.
She thought she did something she shouldn't do. Or maybe she intervened too much in his personal space, or because she shouldn't have been there at the time.
Because of her, he was forced to submit and stand with a gun to his head, all of which happened because of her inattention.
That same evening, a few hours earlier, she knew she could take down those who had abducted her, but on the other hand she had failed.
Senju felt guilty for bothering Mikey and putting him in a situation like this, even though the boy hadn't blamed her even once.
Now she was looking into his eyes, his black eyes that were much darker than the sky, and very lonely, lost in any trace of life.
There were no stars in his eyes, but she knew that once upon a time there were millions of stars that brought happiness to those who looked at them.
Senju wanted to say something, just to get the boy out of his trance, even though she knew it sounded desperate inside her mind, she didn't want the boy to be mad at her.
But she didn't even have time to open her mouth to say anything because the boy looked at her so fast that if she didn't look at him she could have missed his gaze.
Senju was surprised when he run over to her, then his left arm gripped her waist, and his right arm her head.
With a thud they both fell to the floor, however she had not felt any pain, his arms protected her as well as possible from the impact.
His right hand remained under the nape of her neck, preventing her head from touching the floor, and his left hand quickly detached from her waist and then lifted it into the air.
As her body approached the ground slightly, she closed her eyes to wait for the pain that was not coming, and when she opened it again she realized what had really happened before.
It was not because of her that the boy felt so distant, but because of the man with the gun standing in the doorway.
Senju had shifted her gaze to the left to see better, but the hand from her head had made its way to her face, now he was covering her eyes with his palm.
The sound of gunfire could be heard again, and the fact that it sounded so loud meant that it was close to them.
The hand on her face was removed and she could now see what had happened. The boy had raised his gun, which he had borrowed from the sleeping boy from the floor, and shot the man who was standing at the door in the head.
His left hand lowered slightly, falling to the ground and his gaze turned to her. She looked at him, and her eyes widened when she saw the trail of blood dripping lightly from under his left eye.
Their position was inappropriate, he was on top of her with his hands on either side of her body, which was lying on the floor, but at the same time she didn't care.
Raising her right hand, Senju brought it closer to his cheek until her warm skin made contact with his cold one.
Seeing that the boy did not flinch or push her aside, she had moved her fingers closer to the wound, putting the blood aside.
Luckily for her, the wound wasn't a deep one, which meant it wouldn't leave a scar behind. Her blue eyes turned to his black one's, and the sensation had returned earlier, the two of them were in their own world again.
"Does it hurt?"
These were the first words she uttered, even though she knew she should thank him for saving her life.
"Did you get hurt?"
That wasn't what she expected to hear from him, the question had really shocked her. He was the one who was hurt, but he didn't even care about himself, he only cared if she was okay or not.
Even though it was cold in the building, she thought it was too hot, and her heart began to beat as hard as before, and she hoped he couldn't hear her.
"I'm fine but how do you feel?!"
Now that she was thinking better, there was a possibility that he would be shot elsewhere, the thought had frightened her, so without hesitation she let her eyes go down his whole body, waiting to see if he was hurt. When she didn't see any blood stains staining his clothes, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Nothing happened."
The confirmation from himself had reassured her even more, looking up at his intensely staring eyes. Senju didn't know if it was in her imagination, but the distance between the two seemed to shrink, now it seemed closer than before.
However, the small distance between their faces did not bother her at all and being he did not withdraw, it meant that it didn't bother him either.
Senju could not name what she was feeling at the time, but she would not deny the attraction she felt for the man above her.
She stared at him, wondering what he was thinking now, was he thinking about her, or maybe how to get up without ruining anything between the two of them.
For a good few minutes no one says anything, they just look at each other and do nothing more. However, the moment is ruined when Ran is thrown into a wall in the hallway, waking them both from the trance.
Mikey looked away from her, looking for the person in question to see if he needed his intervention. Mikey calms down when he sees Ran jumping to his feet, taking a baton stick out of his pocket and starting to hit the masked guys with it.
On the other hand, Senju had not looked at the direction in which the boy was looking, she was looking at him, watching as his jaw clenched, trying to control herself from touching it.
The earlier scene had made Mikey realize where he was, and why he was now above the girl. His gaze darkened, moving his eyes from the door to the desk, watching as no one was leaning against the table.
