As always, Toby made good on his promises. The nursery was almost completed, he was back to being his wife's support system, and as soon as he returned from his trip, he gave Spencer the most unforgettable night.
Spencer was a beautiful, glowing, healthy pregnant woman. Although Toby had his concerns. As she rounded out her twenty third week, they still hadn't received any movement from the baby. The doctor reassured them that it was nothing to worry about, but Spencer, always the pessimist, was constantly worried.
To take her mind off of things, Toby had packed them an expansive picnic as well as their swimsuits. Lake Geneva was open to the beaches and the couple had agreed on a day at their favorite beach in Fontana.
Today, Spencer was in strangely high spirits, her smile uncontainable while they drove down the many twists and turns of Fontana. She had long since grabbed his hand, clutching to it as if her life depended on it. And she never missed the opportunity to steal a kiss.
Upon their arrival, she laid down a towel and collapsed onto it, pulling out a book. But Toby had something else on his mind. Her offered her his hand, and, without thinking twice, Spencer accepted unaware of what would happen next.
Always the macho man, Toby hoisted her frame over his shoulder, careful not to disturb her stomach. She pounded on his back, begging for release. Her screams earned startled looks from other beach-goers, but she knew Toby's only intention was having a good time.
He gently lowered his protesting wife into the cool lake water and gathered her once again in his arms. Brushing their noses together in a friendly Eskimo kiss, he smiled at his fortune. Here he was, with the love of his life and their unborn daughter.
Spencer yanked his head down, obviously with another plan in mind. She licked their lips together, softly sucking on his lower lip. Her tongue begged for entrance, while Toby's hands cascaded down her curves, claiming what was his.
They quickly became aware that there were other people on the beach, pulling away reluctantly. They stayed in the water a few more minutes before jogging back out to the shore.
It was an hour after their romp in the lake that Spencer noticed a sharp cramp in her lower abdomen. Figuring it was simply the simple constipation that was guaranteed with pregnancy, she excused herself to the bathroom. But she returned with a shocking realization.
With a sick look on her features, she approached her husband. "Toby, I-I'm," she stuttered. "I'm, um, I'm bleeding."
