Chapter 68

With one last kiss and an "I love you", Toby along with Ezra and Travis took off down the road.

"So," Emily stuttered.

"Should we?" Spencer mumbled.

Hanna nodded her head. "Aria, Paige, maintain constant contact with the boys and Melissa, and anything important gets transferred to us. Just like we went over."

Aria sighed. "Do you really think it's gonna be over now? I mean, we've said that-"

"No." Spencer interjected. "This time, it needs to be over. Whatever we have to do."

Hanna and Emily nodded in agreement and Paige stood up from her spot at the table.

"I love you," she whispered in Emily's ear, wrapping her arms around her.

The five of them piled into a group hug that lasted for what seemed like forever.

They finally pulled away, and Spencer, Emily, and Hanna were out the door.

"Let's use the three wheelers in the shed, it'll be easier than walking," Spencer suggested.

The three of them approached the shed, located the key, and stepped inside. The space was dark, but through the darkness, the girls sensed that the space was empty, save for three ATVs and a piece of white paper in the corner.

Emily picked it up, and read aloud.

"We found you. And one of us is very close. Maybe she's lurking in the field, waiting for her prey to appear. -A"

"The corn field," Hanna muttered.

"Well, looks like that's where we're going," Spencer said and trotted out of the shed.

Fifty paces into the corn field and the girls heard a rustling behind them. They turned around and looked the newcomer in the eye.

"We meet again," spoke Cece Drake.

So I've been super inactive so I plan to upload the entire A encounter tonight. I actually role played it with my friend many months ago so idk if I'll remember all the amazing details we came up with. But it's gonna be intense and sorta unrealistic. But this is a story so...
