Chapter 32: Drunk Hanna Makes Mistakes

Hanna POV

She was drunk. Worse than she ever remembered being drunk. Drunker that she'd ever been in high school and drunker than she'd been after Caleb's death.
It was all in festivities though. She and Travis (they were official now) had driven to a small bar in Denver and things had gotten wild.
Now she found herself wandering through an alley behind the bar. She bumped into a dumpster and tripped over her 3 inch heels. She removed them and tossed them on the ground.
That's when she saw him. Black hair and black eyes that she would never forget. But he was dead... How was this happening? Or at least she thought he was. Maybe not. Maybe this whole thing had been some huge nightmare and she'd just woken up.
There was no denying she still loves Caleb. Travis was amazing, but Caleb was her first love- she couldn't beat that.
The next thing she knew, her lips were on his. His hands moved down her body, a rushed movement. This kiss tasted like alcohol and nothing like kissing Caleb had. She pulled away and took off in the opposite direction.
Everything came back. She was drunk and delirious. Caleb was dead. It hit her like a thousand pound weight. He was gone and he wasn't coming back. Ali had taken everything from her.
She couldn't take Travis from her. She was dead...
As if on cue, Travis emerged from the bar. He spotted his girlfriend crumpled up on the ground, near passed out. He helped her to stand up, and called a cab.
Hanna was glad he hadn't seen that she was kissing someone else. He would've been pissed beyond belief.
But someone did see. And they would use that secret like a weapon. Like they had every time before in their favorite game.
