Chapter 5: A Proposal

Spencer knew what was happening before Toby even opened his mouth.

"Spencer, you're the first face that I see in the morning and the last thing I think about at night. You're the reason I'm alive and the reason I don't give up. You give me so much more than I could've dreamt of and I can't imagine my life without you. Spencer Jill Hastings, will you marry me?"

Through her tears, Spencer managed to give her answer.

"Yes. A million times, yes!" She screamed. She ran into her now fiancé's arms and Toby picked her up and spun her around.

He set her down and rested his forehead against hers.

"I love you, Spencer Hastings," he said.

"I love you, too. And that isn't my last name anymore," she beamed in reply.

All of a sudden, Spencer was grabbed from behind from an unknown person.

She whipped around to face the newcomer.
