"Where the hell is it?" Spencer groaned.
"Destination is on your right," Siri chanted.
"Thank you Siri," Toby said.
Ahead of them stood a huge mansion, it's driveway packed with cars.
"Damn," Spencer breathed.
They stepped inside, already overwhelmed by the smell of sweat and alcohol. They moved through the crowd, looking for Teiah.
They finally found her on the screened-in porch, a glass of red wine in hand.
"Spencer! Toby!" She screeched when she saw them. She gathered them into a hug.
"It's been so long!" She sighed.
"Yeah, too long," Spencer responded.
"Let's go get you guys some drinks!" she suggested.
They sauntered over to the bar and Spencer got a white wine, Toby a rum and coke. They found their way to the lounge and took a seat. They were catching up when Spencer's phone chimed. She opened the message, her jaw dropping to the floor.
"You'd be surprised what your friends do when you aren't around." Attached was a picture of Hanna kissing someone. Someone other than Travis.
Signed below the message was one letter. The letter that was supposed to mean a good grade. Was supposed to be nothing more than the first letter of the alphabet. Instead it had caused her so much pain and fear for 8 years until Ali was killed.
Signed at the bottom was one cursed letter.
