Chapter 26: Leaving

Spencer checked her phone. 12:00. The plane left in an hour.

She nudged Toby lightly on the arm. He stood up from his seat at the kitchen counter and Spencer followed suit.

"It's noon, you guys should probably be on your way," Aria said sadly.

Toby made his way into the bedroom and wheeled the large blue suitcase down the hallway. Ada Lynn sprung from her spot on her bed to meet him.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"Aunt Spencer and I have to leave," he responded.

"Where are you going?" She inquired.

"We have to go home to our house," Toby explained. "But we will see you very soon when your aunt and I get married."

"Okay!" She yelled and hopped back into her room.

He met Spencer in the kitchen where she was hugging and saying goodbye to Aria.

He high fived Ezra, pulling him into a "manly hug" as Spencer called it. She always made fun of his masculinity when it came to his friends. He was fine when it came to his friends fro work, but Ezra and Caleb held a special place in his heart.

After saying goodbye to everyone, they headed into the foyer. Toby eyes wandered to the vintage armoire to his left.

There were multiple pictures: Aria and Ezra on their wedding night, the twins and their parents, and their most recent school pictures.

There was one in particular that he was drawn to, however.

There she stood. Stunning blue eyes, wavy blonde hair, and a look of utmost confidence on her face. There stood Alison DiLaurentis. Looking perfectly innocent.

But she wasn't. And that's what got her killed.
