"Spencer you have thirty minutes!" Melissa yelled from across the dressing room.

"Her hair is almost done!" Hanna chirped.

"Are all the bridesmaids ready?" Emily asked.

"Just give me a second for my makeup," Aria murmured.

"Hey, Em, zip me up please," Paige said.

Emily zoomed over to help her girlfriend and then stood back to admire her work. Well, it was mostly Spencer, but Emily had taken care of everything that day.

"Oh, Aria," she started, walking over to Aria who was hunched over a makeup compact. "Are Ada Lynn and Joshua ready?"

"Joshua is with Ezra, and Ada still needs to get her dress on," Aria muttered, not looking up from the mirror.

"Okay, just make sure she's ready in twenty minutes so she can line up."

The crowd of six was buzzing about from place to place, locating earrings, touching up curls, applying mascara. And Spencer was almost ready. All she had to do was put her dress on.

As Hanna pinned one last piece of hair into Spencer's updo, Emily removed the dress from it's hanger and offered it to Spencer.

Spencer gingerly took it from Emily, admiring it silently. She crossed to an area closed off by a curtain and slipped inside. Five minutes later, she emerged.

And there was Spencer, looking absolutely perfect. At that moment, her mother glided into the room, clad in a black, satin cocktail dress. She wore a melancholy smile in her face as she walked towards her daughter.

"You look stunning. I'm so happy for you, Spencer. I'm so proud to be your mother."

"Thanks, mom," was all Spencer managed before embracing her mother.

"Now go out there and enjoy your last minutes of being a Hastings," she laughed.

"Wasn't twenty four years enough?" her daughter joked.

"It's hard, I agree. But remember that today is a new start. And just think about everything that has happened up to this point."

And with that, she was gone.
