Chapter 41

"Wow, Aria!" Hanna exclaimed.
"I love it," Spencer breathed.
"It really looks fantastic on you," Emily gushed.

Aria twirled around, admiring the navy blue fabric now enveloping her. She had barely gained any weight in her first trimester, and the baby was merely a small bump. She adjusted the one strap slung over her shoulder before Melissa emerged from the dressing room as well. She looked equally beautiful, the dark fabric complementing her pale skin. Paige followed, her dress tight around her broad swimmers shoulders.

Hanna stood up from her spot on the bench to intercept her dress from the woman in front of her. She glided into the dressing room and closed the curtain behind her. She stripped herself of the purple chiffon and white jeans she was wearing and took the dress off of the hanger.

She stepped into the dress and pulled it up over her hips. She tugged it over her stomach and threaded her arm through the strap.

"Can someone please come and zip me up?" She called into the adjacent room. Emily appeared and tugged at the zipper to no prevail. It finally glided a few inches upward before it got stuck again. Emily noted Hanna's slightly protruding stomach and opened her mouth to suggest trying a size up.

That's when she heard a barely audible ripping noise. Her eyes widened as she looked down at the back of the dress, which now featured and small tear in the chiffon.

"Um, Spencer?" Emily squeaked.

Spencer appeared in the dressing room and her mouth dropped open at the sight in front of her. Hanna held her breath, ready for all hell to break loose. Instead, Spencer started to laugh.

"Oh my gosh! That's crazy! I'll get Josie to grab you a size up. This will be our little secret," she whispered. Wow, Spencer Hastings had loosened up a bit. Well, in a day she would be Spencer Cavanaugh.

The biggest mystery however, was why the dress hadn't fit. Hanna's perfect figure remained untouched, except for a perfectly rounded lump right in the center of her stomach.
