A week later, Spencer hunched over a catalogue filled with some of the most gorgeous (and expensive dresses she'd ever seen. She flipped back to page 37. Dress 12. That would be her dress, she decided.

Since the bridal store she wanted to go to was an hour away in Madison, she was forced to look at a catalogue. She planned to go into Madison next Friday and try on dresses, although she was sure of what she wanted.

She heard the garage door closing, signaling it was time to hide the catalogue. She sprinted to her office and shoved the book in her desk drawer. She made it to the kitchen just in time to meet Toby at the door.

"Hey handsome. How was work?" She asked as she planted a kiss on his lips.

"Ok," he mumbled. "But Chris just can't seem to show up on time."

Chris, one of Toby's workers, was notorious for being late and lazy at work. He was a nice enough guy, though, and Spencer adored his 4 year old son.

"Well, I could make it up to you," she said as she wrapped her arms around his neck.

"We have a wedding to plan," Toby said, pulling away.

A look of disappointment washed over Spencer's face. "Ok," she complied.

As Spencer had called in the reservation at Gino's for their reception dinner, Toby's phone rang.

"It's Ezra," Toby said hesitantly.

Spencer's eyes widened as he took the call and stepped into the bedroom.

Even though he was her best friends husband and father to her children, Spencer still hadn't forgiven Ezra. She couldn't forget that he had spied on them in high school and put Aria through hell.

"Yeah, you know, I'll call you back later. Yeah, bye Ezra," Toby muttered before hanging up.

"So? What did he want?" Spencer asked bitterly.

"He asked if we wanted to come out to California for Christmas," Toby said.

"Are you kidding me? That's not going to happen!" Spencer laughed.

"Why not?"

"Have you forgotten what he did to my friends and I?"

"Spencer, that was over 6 years ago!"

They were both screaming at this point.

"Toby! I'm not going to California! Not after what Ezra did!"

"You know what, Spencer? You're horrible at forgiving people. It's something I've always hated about you," he snarled.

"Go. Leave and don't come back," Spencer screamed.

And with that, Toby was gone.
