Roswell's POV:

It took almost three hours before I found Blaze. He wasn't in his room or his parents' room, but I finally found him.

I waited for him to finish talking to the wolf he was talking to before I pulled him away so we could have a real conversation.

At first, he seemed resident but eventually followed me out of the pack house and away from prying ears.

'Okay, stop.' 'I think we are far enough away from both the pack house and other wolves so we can talk.' Blaze all but growled out at me. I sighed and turned around to look him in the eye and just stared at him for a moment before deciding. Yes, we were most likely far enough away.

'Look, I really do not want to be doing this right now because Phoenix needs one of us and beings you are being a complete a$$ that someone is me.' 'So here is what we are going to do.' 'You are going to answer each and every question I ask you truthfully and then we were go from there, but just know this if I have a feeling that you are lying to me for whatever reason I will reject you in a heartbeat do I make myself clear.' I explained rather rudely, but honestly, I do not care right now.

'You should not talk to mate like that.' Midnight, my wolf growled out lightly towards me. I sighed inwardly but ignored him. I know I am not supposed to take my frustration out on my mate, but this mate is and has hurt my other mate, so right now, he is getting an ear full from me.

'I will answer everything you ask of me truthfully.' Blaze said. I nodded happily towards him. We walked a little further and decided to sit under a large tree. As soon as we sat down, I took a deep breath to calm myself down before I began asking him my questions.

'First question.' I said, waiting for him to look at me. I wanted to look into his eyes as he answered my questions so I would know if he was lying or not.

'How can you cheat on your mate, our mate?' I growled out harshly.  I tried not to allow my emotions to get the better of me, but I just can't fathom cheating on my mate, either of them. I heard Blaze take a deep breath before answering my question.

'I knew Phoenix was my mate as soon as I turned sixteen, but I was already in love with his sister.' 'I fell in love with his sister when I was just a pup.' 'Almost immediately, I felt like I needed to be with her, but she was older then me and shortly after I turned fourteen she found her mate, I was heartbroken because I truly wished and prayed to the Moon Goddess to make her my mate.' 'But the cruel twist of fate made Phoenix my mate instead.' 'I was angry and wanted Phoenix to feel the pain I felt when I lost my love.' Blaze explained, making me gasp. I couldn't believe my ears, he cheated on Phoenix because his so called love found her true fated mate.

'Are you f**king serious right now?' 'You were and probably still are willing to throw a life with Phoenix, your true fated mate away, might I add for a girl that wasn't and isn't your fated mate?' I gritted out angerliy.

'It's not like I planned to fall in love with someone other than my mate, it just happened, and now, with everything that Phoenix had gone through, I feel bad, terrible even, but I was just a pup and it was what I thought was true love and that she would end up being my fated mate.' Blaze said sadly.

I kind of feel bad for him, but when I think of how broken Phoenix was when the first time I saw him, that feeling morphs into anger instead.

'Why didn't you just reject Phoenix then?' I asked him. That question was one I couldn't figure out. If he did not want Phoenix, why not just reject him instead.

'Honestly, because my wolf, Nezm would not allow it.' 'He hated me the moment I started sleeping around and would ignore me unless it was related to pack training.' Blaze said.

'Good for Nezm.' Cypress said, and I nodded my head, agreeing with him.

'So what are you plan on doing now?' 'Are you ever going to be honest with Phoenix or just continue on hurting him until he finally has enough and rejects you or what?' I asked Blaze.

'No, no I will be honest with Phoenix and tell him the truth.' 'My dad is not happy with me, and neither is Uncle Larry or Uncle Laurent.' 'My father is probably not happy with me either but because we don't talk to each other that much I could only assume.' Blaze explained sighing heavily.

I sighed to and stood up.

'I do want to talk to you more and get more answers from you, but Phoenix has been left alone long enough and I want to get back to him.' 'We will talk again soon.' I said and began walking back towards the pack house.

'Wait.' Blaze yelled out stopping me in my tracks.

'I know I've been a resl jerk, but I can't stay by myself, my wolf keeps howling wanting to be with his mate's.' 'I was hoping I can return to our room along with you.' Blaze said softly.  I sighed and nodded my head. He is right my wolf too is restless when all three of us is apart from one another.

'Yes, but be quiet, Phoenix really needs his rest.' I told him and we began walking back towards the pack house together.

'I promised my dad I would talk to Phoenix and explain everything to him once Phoenix is feeling better.' Blaze said.

'That's good.' I said and we continued to walk in silence towards the pack house.
