Phoenix POV:

It's been a month since both Roswell and I had last seen Blaze. I knew my dad and uncle Jackson would make him suffer by keeping us apart, but I didn't think it would be a month. I sighed, remembering how Roswell was upset when he realized we wouldn't be seeing our mate for a long time. He said he would have liked for us to work through everything ourselves instead of sending our mate away. I nodded, agreeing with him, but then I reminded him why Blaze is where he is.

It took a while for Roswell to be okay with Blaze, being at the Alpha Academy. But that doesn't stop him from complaining that Blaze has been gone for a month. I just sit quietly and laugh at his complaints. No, not because it's funny but because my dad and uncle Jackson could have done way worse as a punishment to Blaze for what he had done when he found out I was his mate.

Besides sending him to Alpha Academy, it will help us in the long run. Both Roswell and I are Alphas and have always known our roles, but Blaze being adopted, and that from the Queen and King of the Vampies he doesn't really know his role as a Alpha or a Luna of a pack and all that those titles entails.

Yes, he trained with us in our pack because King Egon requested for Blaze and his brother to train beings Vampies do not have a specific training system. They start to train when they are just barely old enough to walk, and it's not just strategy or combat but also magic and manifestation. Unfortunately beings both Blaze and his brother are not Vampies they could only train in combat, but uncle Egon wanted them to learn by my father, so that's why they trained in our pack, but as for the roles in a pack Blaze was never taught. That's why I think him being in the Alpha Academy would not do him so good but also our pack.

I do agree with Roswell, though I wish it wasn't for this long. I'm still hurt because of how he treated me as his mate. I even forgave him for being so attached to my sister, but if my parents taught me one thing is that forgiveness is healthy and crucial for a happy relationship.

'What are you thinking?' 'What ever it is must not be a happy thought because your scrunchies your face.' Roswell said. I just shook my head not really wanting to talk.

"Later, we have a lot of work still to do." I told him I watched as he nodded his head questionly at me. I know he knows something is going on with me, but he also knows that I do not keep anything from him, so when I say later, he knows I'll tell him later. But like I said, we have a lot of work still to complete, thanks to my father. My dad and uncle Jackson are the Alpha Academy with Blaze leaving my father to run the pack by his self and because of my request for my dad to teach Blaze a lesson, my father decided I needed to do my dad's part of the pack work.

At first I was upset because I felt as though I was being punished also, but after remembering my dad has been training me to take over our pack when my father retires, and also the fact that my dad is not here because of me, I choose to keep quiet and help my father out. Roswell hasn't complained once, but I guessing the reason he has not complained is because he's the prince of the werewolves and he's used to being behind a desk and learning all that there is to know about any pack and there policy and practices.

'Okay stop sighing, your done for the day.' My father said in his fake annoyed voice. I smiled, got up from the chair and started walking towards the office door.

'Phoenix remember this is just a small part of running a pack, when you and your mate's take over this pack you three will all have more work, but with being three of you maybe it won't to much.' My father said. I turned around and just stared at my father, not knowing what to say. Yes, I knew there would be paperwork, pack issues, and also outside business dealings that I would have to deal with, but I didn't even think about all that goes into being an Alpha.

I sighed and nodded my head and watched as my father smiled at me. I smiled back and walked out of his office.

'Phoenix, you seemed so shocked because of what your father just said.' 'You have been in the Lunas office almost as often as the Luna his self, why are you shocked'. Roswell  explained, asked to me. I just nodded, agreeing with him, because he is right. I have always been close to my dad, maybe because of my mom, but maybe just because I like being around my dad. Plus as my father said I'll be taking over this pack when he retires so it only made sense for me to be in the Lunas office and learn all that it takes to run a happy, healthy and thriving pack.

"I'm not sure. Maybe I just never took the time to understand all that it takes to run a pack. " "Remember I told you most of the time I was with my dad in his office I was spending time with my mom, on top of learning everything about the pack's business on and off the pack grounds ". I explained to him. It's true I was learning about pack life, but I was also spending time with my mom, which when I was being shown Luna responsibilities, they never stuck my dad would have to teach me again.

I sighed, realizing my dad had more patience with me than I realized.
