Roswell's POV:

Other than Phoenix and may be even his father Alpha Laurent, not many of the werewolves in the pack house noticed I was gone.

I didn't get wolfnapped or leave because I couldn't stand being there any longer. No, I left because I wanted to check up on Blaze at the Alpha Academy. I had called and even linked my parents to get information on him, but I  didn't get anything other than he's working hard. And of course, me being my parents' pup, I knew they were hiding something. Especially my mother. She is a chatterbox and loves to hear every detail of my life. So when the Queen of the Werewolves only has you on the phone long enough to say hello and goodbye, something is definitely up.

So I decided to leave the pack grounds and head to the Alpha Academy and find out exactly what was going on. I know I sound a little paranoid, but I just felt as though something was not right, and normally, if I have this kind of feeling , I am right. Especially after being with Phoenix for so long, I learned to trust my instincts.

The journey was long and tiring, and surprisingly quick. I do not remember the last time I was at the Alpha Academy, so being back felt surreal and shocking that everything seemed the same but different.

I took a deep breath and smiled at the familiar scents of my parents and the royal guards. Suddenly, my smile dropped, not finding the familiar scent I came to find. I smelled new wolves. Of course, being an academy, there are always new scents, but not smelling the scent of my mate made me realize that I, in fact did suspect something and it turned out to be correct. I wanted to growl, to scream, or even to confront my parents for hiding the fact that my mate had either never showed up at the academy or had already left.

Now the question I want answered is, did he even show up, and if he did, where is he now? If he didn't show up, where has he been hiding this whole time?

Realizing I will not get any answers if I just stand outside the Academy gates I decided to walk into the academy and ask around before confronting my parents. I'm really hoping Blaze  was actually here and just left earlier than he's told us he was going to.

'Moon Goddess, please let it be that my mate was here and just left earlier and not he not showing up'. I prayed to the Moon Goddess as I continued to walk through the academy gates. I greeted the royal guards. Some were surprised to see me, others didn't seem surprised at all.

'Nice to see my prince'. My personal royal guard greeted me as I walked through the academy doors. I greeted him back warmly. I know what you are thinking: Why is my royal guard at the academy and not with me at Phoenix pack house? We'll it's simple, really. I didn't want special treatment from Alpha Laurent's pack members. Even though they know I am the prince of the werewolves, they were told by both Alpha Laurent and Luna Larry to treat me the same way any other supernatural creature gets treated while visiting their pack lands.

So yeah, my royal guard followed my parents back to the Alpha Academy and their castle. Besides, I feel very safe while I am at Alpha Laurent's pack. Although it took awhile to convince my parents finally albeit reluctantly agreed.

Anyways back to finding my mate.

'My prince what can I do for you today'? My royal guard asked. At first I wasn't going to answer him and just walk around the academy in hopes to find Blaze even though I still cannot smell his scent in any part of the academy I had already walked through. But not finding Blaze I decided to tell what I needed and with little to no hope I am hoping he had seen Blaze and could tell me where he is or was.

'I am looking for my mate'. 'I am sure you know who he is, but if not his name is Blaze and is the son of Queen Jackson and King Egon'. I explained to him and waited for his response. What I did not expect to see was the pale look that came over his face, which made me nervous. 

'Has Blaze been hurt'? 'Did he even show up like he said he would'? 'Has my parents and Phoenix parents been lieing to us this whole time, and if they have where is Blaze'? Those were the thoughts running through my mind while I watch as my royal guard kept turning paler and paler with each passing second. 

'My royal prince I do know of Blaze and yes he was here, but I think it is best if you take to your royal parents'. My royal guard finally muttered out. I stood there in place trying to understand why he was so pale, muttering his words and not looking me in the eye.

'Mate is fine'. My wolf linked me, and even though I know he is right it still does not explain why me royal guard is acting the way he is, or why my parents have been acting weird every time I call them, especially mother who always wishes I stayed on the phone with her longer than I do.

I sighed nodded my head bid him farewell and started walking towards my father's office in hopes of getting actual answers from him since I will be face to face with him. Walking towards my father's office felt like the longest walk of my life, the hallway seemed to never end and then suddenly I was standing in front of his office wondering if I should even knock or just walk into his office, but before I made up my mind I heard my father say come in Roswell.

I walked into his office to find both of my parents sitting at his large desk.

'Before you get upset and ask where your mate is, just know he is find and will return to the pack house soon'. My father said leaving me speechless.
