The Trials of Fate

Chapter 13

Haven pov

I wake up in Cedrics arms. I see the sun is up so I wiggle out of the bed and walk into the bathroom. After I get out of the shower I see that Cedric is awake and dresses. I quickly get dressed and put on my circlet.

" Where'd you get that?"

"I got it from Jare." He nods. " Tonight is a full moon do you want to accompany me? Jare will be there too." I rub my hands together nervously.

"Ok course I will be there for you plus then I will meet another one of our group." I smile and grab his hand. Then we walk to the great hall together.

I practically bounce the whole way. Jare said I would have a lot of energy on the full moon but I didn't believe it. All I have ever heard about werewolves said they get tired but apparently complete werewolves get way more energy.

After we get to the great hall we sit down and I look at Snape. When he meets my eyes I gesture two fingers at my neck and then point at the sky he seems to get the point because he quickly gets up and leaves. I eat some bacon and sausage while talking to the people at my table. The time tables are handed out and I see Snape in the entryway. I poke Cedric and we leave.

"Haven I told the house elves of your predicament if you go to the portrait next to your common room and tickle the pear it will let you into the kitchen. Hello Mr. Diggory." With that he walks back into the great hall.

Me and Cedric head to the kitchen. When we enter one of the house elves hands me a rare stake and a cup of blood. Me and Cedric sit down and I eat my meal.

"You know if you want you can drink from me."

"I could but then you would have to get blood replacement potions and I don't know what excuse you would give to madam pomfry."

"You know that Snape provides the potions right, and he knows your condition. So I'm sure if you ask him he would give you some and I want to help you."

"Ok but we have to talk to Snape first." He nods and I finish up. Then Cedric leads me to Snape's office.

I knock on the door and a familiar voice rings out. " Come in." I open the door and he looks up " ah Haven what can I do for you today?"

I play with my hands and eventually Cedric speaks up, " I want to be able to help him with his blood problem but he won't let me unless I have a blood replacement potion."

" That would be more convenient for me and him. I can provide potions every week. You only need one once a day if he drinks from you twice. Make sure he is drinking enough because we don't want him getting sick." He hands Cedric one potion then continues. " I can give you a week's worth after class tomorrow Mr. Diggory." He nods and we leave heading back to our room.

We we get to our room he holds out his arm for me. I look at him to make sure that he is actually okay with this. He nods and then speaks. " You have not been drinking enough you are going to get sick. I am the one who suggested this it's fine drink."

I look down at his arm again grabbing it and bringing it up to my mouth. I open my mouth and sink my teeth into his soft skin. He lets out a small gasp before starting to hum happily. I drink for a while before removing my fangs and letting go of his arm.

"Thank you for letting me take care of you." He says with a smile. He casts a healing spell on his arm, then picks me up and drops me on the bed cuddling up next to me. "Sleep tonight will be a long night." I cuddle up to him and drift off to sleep.
