Chapter 5

Haven pov

I arrive at home before my sister and quickly head to my bed. I hear my sister pop back into the house. I hear her put sleeping Toby back into his bed before starting towards my room. She opens the door and I rub my eyes like she just woke me up.

" Where did you go? I woke up in Toby's bed and you weren't there."

She seemed to think for a bit before responding. " It took toby for a walk because he wouldn't stop crying."

I nod even though I knew it was a lie. "Ok, goodnight sissy."

"Goodnight hades." She whispers before kissing my cheek and walking out of my room.

Time skip

It's been 5 year sense I first went to the underground and met the second of my chosen. Sense then I have learned many things from Jare. I learned how to control the elements and use fae magic. I have learned etiquette for the human, magic and fae worlds. Jare helped me get adopted into the Williams family by magic and taught me all he knew about normal magic.

Today is my eleventh birthday. I woke up to Jare's owl knocking on my window. I open it and the owl drops a wrapped gift at my feet before flying out the window.

Jare's present was always the first one I got on my birthday. I open the letter on top first.

Dear my precious little ven,

Happy eleventh birthday it is a very important time for a young magical. Many schools will be sending you letters or representatives but because of your first family Hogwarts will probably be the most persistent. You may want to go to Hogwarts though because then you might meet your godfather. I hope you send me letter where every you go. Be safe and enjoy your gift.

I carefully put the letter into it's envelope and put it into my desk before opening the gift. I gasp it was a silver circlet with emeralds embedded. With it was a small note. Just to let people know someone powerful is backing you -J

I chuckle before getting dressed and putting the circlet on. After that I head down stairs for breakfast.

As soon as I get down stairs my sister spots me.

" Wow J really out did him self this year just how much money does he have."

"A lot my dear sister way to much."

We giggle. She knows it is from J because he always gets me something over the top. She thinks that he is my best friend though.

We settle down and start to eat breakfast. After we finish and start cleaning up the door bell rings. My mom opens the door to reveal an angsty man in robes and a cloak.

" May I come in, I came here about a Haven Williams."

My father is the one to respond, "Yes, you may."

" I have come here on behalf of Hogwarts a school of witchcraft and wizardry. Your son has been excepted into our prestigious boarding school for young magicals."

" Your saying magic is real and our little Haven has it."

" Yes mister Williams it is not uncommon for magical people to show up in non- magical families."

" I see can you leave the information here so we can talk about it."

"Of course sir I will be back august 31 to take him to get supplies and then on the first of September to take him to school if you wish for him to go."

With that the man walks out the door just as a couple of owls knock on the window. After we get the letters we are left with three school invitations. One for Hogwarts, one for ivermory( the school in America), and on for Durmsung.

"So one of our children has magic. What a special surprise." My mother says.

"So let's see which school will be the best for our little Haven."

We spend the rest of the day celebrating my birthday and going through the pros and cons of each school. In the end we choose Hogwarts just before bed.
