Chapter 26

Haven pov

All of the classes were cancelled for the week because of Ron's untimely death. I still have the meeting later so I decided that I am going to take a nap with ced. I grab him and we go to my room. We slept until lunch and after lunch I decided to explore the school.

As I explore the second floor I hear someone crying in the girls bathroom. I knock on the door before entering. I enter to see a ghost girl crying. She see me and flies into one of the stalls. "Are you okay?" I ask her.

She slowly looks out of the stall. "No one has ever asked me that before."

"Why not? You seem like a nice enough. Is it just because you are a ghost? But they don't have trouble with the other ghosts."

"I'm just stupid old moaning myrtle all I'm good for is crying."

"Your not stupid. People should be more kind to those around them. Did they even think that perhaps the reason why you are crying is because everyone is rude to you? Or the fact that you may be lonely due to the fact no one ever talks to you?"

"No, everyone just avoids this bathroom."

"Well if it is any consolation I will be your friend. We can hangout and talk every Saturday. I can even bring my friends."

"You would really do that for me?" She says in awe. I nod. "Thank you so much, I haven't had any friends since I died."

"No problem." We talk for a long time by the time dinner arrives she has a genuine smile on her face. "See you Saturday Myr."

"See you then." I walk over to dinner decide to sit with draco today. I walk over to the Slytherin table and sit next to draco.

All the older years interacted with me last year so they had no reaction when I just sat down. The first years seemed to have confusion breaking through their pure blood mask.

I had a lovely conversation with draco and everything was fine until I looked at the time. It was 5 minutes until I was supposed to meet up with Tom. I say goodnight to draco before going to my room. When I finally get to my room I travel to Tom's house.
