Chapter 38

Haven pov

Ever since the Potter incident people are always staring at me. I decide to go for a walk around the lake instead of going to lunch. I walk along and come across someone on the lake in a boat. He appears to be fishing.

I continue to walk and slowly get nearer to him. He has white hair. When I get halfway through the walk I see him about at the shore. I get rather close to him when I see scales on his neck. They are as white as his hair.

When I get to the shore of the place he is he looks at me. He has one eye open it is a reflective white. He smiles at me and opens his other eye. His other eye is stone with some sort of rune on it. As quickly as he open his eye he closes it and disappears.

I shake my head at the weird interaction and finish my walk.

Time skip

The rest of the day was usual. I went to the rest of my classes, was stared at all dinner and went to my room with Emery. I went to sleep feeling a little weird.

I wake up and rub my eyes. I try and walk out of my bed and fall on the floor. I try to get up by getting on my hands and knees. I look down and see golden paws. Having experience in a wolf form I bound to the bathroom. I jump on the counter and look in the mirror and see a golden fox face looking back at me.

I go back to my bed and hide under the covers. What am I going to do I can't go to class like this.

"Haven it's time to go to breakfast." I hear Emery say. I shuffle deeper into the blanket. I feel him grab my blanket and yank it off of me. "Come on we are going to be late." I quickly look at my hands to see they have returned back to normal. I get dressed in confusion. I do my usual morning routine and head to breakfast.

After breakfast I go to class. Everything goes as normal until I get to my last class potions. I went to my normal seat and start to work on the potion when all of the sudden I feel funny again.

"Professor Snape can I be dismissed I am feeling unwell."

"Yes but I expect you to come complete the potion as soon as you can." I nod and start to walk out of class. Suddenly I am only able to see the ground.

"Where did he go?" A Hufflepuff says.

I quickly try to go to Snape. I find that I have no arms so I slither assuming that I am a snake. I start to move along and find myself moving very slowly. When I finally get to Snape I start to slither up his pants leg. He quickly grabs me out of his pants.

I look him in the eyes and project my thoughts to him. He looks at me in shock. "Class dismissed. I expect a ten foot essay on the uses of this potion and what mistakes can be made." With that he walks into his office and locks the door. "How did this happen?" I project my own confusion to him. "Let me call madam pomfry." I nod and he walks to the infirmary.

"Hello Snape what can I do for you?"

"I have Mr. Williams he and we have a slight problem."

"Where is he?" He holds me out on the palm of his hand. "That's him? How did he end up as a tiny brown snake?"

"That is what we are trying to figure out."

"Ok, let me run some test." She points her wand at me and I can feel her magic wash over me. " The tests say nothing is wrong. I haven't heard of anything like this. Perhaps get an inheritance test?"

"I will see to it. Thanks for the help."

"Your welcome but I wish I could have done more."

We start to walk back to his office I change back. "Welcome back. Has this happened before?"

"Once this morning."

"I see. We should contact Jareth."

"Ok."
