Hidden Spark on Earth II (TFP)

Chapter 29

The party proceeded extremely well. Saphira found herself bathed in kisses from both of her sparkmates, while enjoying several red velvet cupcakes, carrots and cream cheese, and the usual sardines with almond butter. The happy birthday song was sang, even though Saphira didn't particularly like the song, but it was okay as the bots and cons sang it along with the kids. Saphira also got enjoy watching Knockout, Breakdown, Bumblebee and Wheeljack play their own version of Twister. It was hilarious. And it looked ridiculous at the same time, but everyone had a good time.

It did inspire Jack, Miko and Raf to play Twister as well. Saphira would have joined in if it wasn't for the baby bump on her stomach. She enjoyed watching though. She did get play a few games though. She had everyone play a game of Truth or Dare, which was daunting for the bots at first, but they quickly worked out it was just a lot of fun. Jack challenged her to an arm wrestle, which she beat him at. And there was some karaoke and dancing as well, it was a very fun time.

Soon it came time for presents. Saphira didn't really expect anything, but she was surprised that there was a lot for her. She sat on the couch watching curiously as Will presented her the first gift. "This gift is from Jack," He said with a smile. "I hope you don't mind having all these gifts, Saphira."

Saphira took the rectangular gift. "Thank you. I might not have wanted gifts, but that is okay. I haven't had birthday gifts for at least eight years, so I'm not used to it." She pulled off to see it was a shower pack with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body butter and a loofah. "Aww, thanks Jack. This is lovely."

Jack smiled as she thanked him for it. "I knew you would prefer something useful over something that will just sit and collect dust."

Fowler grabbed the next present, it wasn't as large as Jack's present, but it was still rectangular. "This one is from Miko." The girl giggled happily as the man gave Saphira the next gift.

Saphira pulled off the wrapping paper and saw there were two Japanese recipe books inside. One that focused on fish recipes, the other covered other recipes. "Oh wow! Thanks, Miko! I am glad that I already loved Japanese food and fish, so this is perfect!"

Miko giggled. "You are welcome. I was lucky that these recipe books could be purchased in English, otherwise it wouldn't have been good. But I am glad you like them. I know you love cooking."

Saphira was really happy with these gifts. "I guess the next one is from Raf?" She asked curiously.

Fowler looked at the tall box and shook his head. "Ratchet's present is next." Optimus and Megatron glance at the medic in surprise. "He had a little human help, of course."

"I was able to find something I think she will like through the internet," Ratchet explained, he was grinning as the man gave Saphira the box. "I know she let me in on the date of her birthday, and that might seem unfair to the two of you, but I got it a month ago, before she told me the date of her birthday. It just happened to be perfect timing."

"I guess I shouldn't be surprised," Optimus said, turning his head to watch Saphira begin to pull the paper off. "You treat her like your own daughter, so it makes sense that you want to spoil her. I know that the sparklings will probably end up getting spoiled too."

"Not too spoiled, I hope," Megatron chuckled as he watched Saphira. She gasped loudly and he sensed surprise and joy through the bond. "What is the gift, Saphira?"

"Wow...Ratchet, I love this!" She opened the box at the top and pulled out a near human sized plush orca, and a blue jewelry box with seashells, pearls and starfish designed on it. "Now we need a second orca..." Ratchet looked at her in surprise. "So the sparklings don't fight over it. Don't think I'm going to keep it to myself. This can be one of their first stuffed toys."
