Hidden Spark on Earth II (TFP)

Chapter 80

Starscream was currently in the med berth being checked over. The news about him being revived spread very quickly, and everyone could not believe that he was back and he still had his memory. Most of it, some of his memories are fuzzy, but he remembers most things. He remembers his interactions with Saphira a lot, and she was happy about that. He did wish he didn't remember how he died, but it was important to know what had happened. Though the fact he had been dead for many months meant he needed to be looked over, and he was currently on an energon drip as well.

Shockwave had returned from Cybertron after hearing about Starscream's revival to see for himself. He had not truly believed that Saphira could revive him, but when he returned and Saphira explained what happened, it was logical that she had indeed revived the seeker. It was definitely a strange day. Especially as reviving someone without dark energon has not really been heard of before, so it was definitely new for everyone.

As for Saphira, she was sitting on Optimus's shoulder as he continued translating the last code for the Omega Key. She was eating a bowl of yogurt with fruit as she was feeling peckish, plus Ratchet and Knockout had shooed them out of the med bay to allow Starscream time to rest and regain his strength. "I honestly still do not know how I revived Starscream, Optimus. I feel like it was a combination of things, but I am glad it worked."

"It seems when you stop focusing on something complicated, it becomes easier to use what you have," Optimus said thoughtfully. "Just as I have been doing, and I believe I will be able to decipher the very last code in a few moments."

Saphira looked at the screen in surprise and smiled. "Really? I thought you were only halfway."

"That was true, but after returning from the island to deal with the sparklings, I had decided to continue working on the code, Saphira. I knew that I was very close, and now I will be able to announce to location of the very last key." He turned his head and looked at her with a smile. "I am looking forward to reviving our planet."

"Well...I know I am supposed to be somehow a key to it too, but I cannot promise I will know what I am doing. I didn't know what I did to create that crystal to remove the dark energon from Megatron, and I didn't know how I revived Starscream with the combination of that pearl, my energy and...tears..." She shrugged and shook her head. "I honestly think I confuse myself more often than I know."

Optimus hummed in amusement. "It would seem so." He turned his head again when the doors of the lobby open as Smokescreen and Bumblebee walk in. "Wouldn't it be something if you could repair Bee's voice box."

Saphira looked at Bee and the bot chuckled softly. "Do not stress yourself, Saphira. I do not want you to be forced to try and fix my voice box. If you can do it, I will be happy. But I am used to how my voice is right now."

"Yeah, but I know you miss your old voice. Besides..." Megatron walked in with Shockwave and he glanced at Saphira as he just overheard the conversation. "It would be the least I can do. If you will let me, Bee. I am thinking something similar to what I did with Starscream...but I am not sure..."

Bee walked over to Saphira with a smile. "Do not worry, Saphira. Reviving Cybertron is more important than my voice. And I think I would be very happy to get it afterwards, it will signify a new beginning for me."

She was happy he wasn't too upset that he would have to wait and she accepted it. She looked at Shockwave with a smile. "I suspect you are planning on returning to Cybertron now, Shockwave? Had enough of company already?"

Shockwave let out an amused huff. "It will be illogical for me to remain at this time, Saphira. The predacons are ready for release, and Predaking is eagerly waiting for the last key to be found. In the mean time, we have been aiding the collection of correct materials and power sources for the new space bridge to bring the Nemesis to our planet. I think that is important."
