When Saphira awoke the following morning, she felt she was laying on top of a very familiar chassis. She opened her eyes and smiled, feeling the gentle rising and falling of the chassis as the mech intakes and exhales gently in his recharge. She did not know what Optimus had thought when he found her sleeping on his berth, and she was glad that he did not avoid sleeping on the berth with her. She gazed at his resting face, wondering how he was feeling. She knew that he was struggling right now...everything felt unfair. She completely understood that feeling.

She remembers feeling that life was unfair for a long time...and how she should just leave the world in order to make everyone happy. She knew Optimus would not be at that point, she couldn't imagine him ever having suicidal thoughts. It would seem very unusual if he did. But she did sympathise with feeling like the world is against you with no one and no way to get out. She hated that she might be part of the reason for causing that.

However, her mind was cut off when she had a sudden rush of nausea. She groaned as she knew exactly what that was. And she had not prepared for it, thinking that maybe she wouldn't get morning sickness. But, she was obviously a fool. She carefully moved from under Optimus's hand and slid off the chassis to the side of the berth, making her way towards the stairs quickly to get off.

Her sudden movement had disturbed Optimus, and the mech opened his optics and glanced down at his hand to see the blanket and pillow before he noticed Saphira rushing down the stairs. Optimus felt the odd feeling coming from Saphira. "Is everything okay, Saphira?" He asked with concern, sitting up as she jumped to the bottom and waved her hand, covering her mouth as she ran towards the door. Something definitely was off. He stood up from the berth and ran out of the berth room to see her rush into her room. He followed her and his optics caught her dashing into the bathroom. The awful feeling of needing to purge came through the bond and her grimaced, her Saphira coughing loudly. "I am...I will go and get Ratchet."

'There's no need, Optimus,' Saphira groaned through the bond, she was glad she could speak to him while sick this way. 'This is considered normal in a human pregnancy. Expect me to have morning sickness for a certain amount of time, or right through the entire pregnancy...which I hope does not happen.'

Normal?! Optimus did not like the sound of that. He would need to confirm that with June, but Saphira was likely aware of how human bodies are like during a carrying. He was still worried as he stood in her room, sensing and hearing her purging. "Are you certain I can't get Ratchet? He could...do something about it."

'If there was a cure for morning sickness, we would have found it. The only thing we can do is try to use anti nausea tablets, but even that is pushing it,' Saphira said to Optimus kindly as she finished heaving and clutched the sides of the toilet as she waited for the nausea to pass. 'It will be fine, Optimus...I will complain about it, sure, but there is nothing you can do about it. Though...I will admit, I do wish you could be here comforting me right now. Even if you just caress my back, I would certainly appreciate it.'

Optimus hummed softly as he knew that she would want that. Unfortunately, he did not know if renovating this room for that purpose would do damage, and he also knew Saphira would still want a space for herself and removing that would not be a good idea. He stayed in the room and placed the pillow and blanket on the couch, knowing she would want to deal with it when she was finished.

He looked towards the bathroom door when Saphira stepped out, she was wiping her face with a damp cloth to soothe herself. "Are you feeling okay?" Optimus asked, dropping to one knee as she nodded. "I guess this was not the ideal way for you to wake up."

"It never is." Saphira smiled at him and sighed deeply, she still felt a little nauseous, but she wasn't bad enough right now. "Sorry if I startled you...but...it was better than vomiting all over your chassis...that would have been far less pretty."
