Hidden Spark on Earth II (TFP)

Chapter 63

Saphira walked over to Optimus with a smile as she watched Megatron play with Calytrix and Stellaxy. Hearing their laughter and squealing was really great to her ears. She looked forward to whatever plan Optimus had. She didn't know where they would go, but she knew that they would have a great time. And she had no doubt that the sparklings were going to sleep very well tonight.

Optimus looked down at Saphira with a smile and leaned down to pick her up. "Were you able to get Knockout's opinion on something?" Saphira giggled and nodded. "Good." He looked back at Megatron. "I guess we should tell the surprise. How does a beach adventure sound?"

Saphira looked at him with wide eyes. "Really?" He nodded with a big smile. "Yes!" She pumped her fist happily. "I've really wanted to show the girls some things about the ocean! And all that was destroyed in the old base, but now we can probably find some shells and make sandcastles!"

Optimus nodded. "Yes, you will. I made sure that it's a part of the country where humans don't visit. And with Galvatron unlikely to be there, we will be safe. I'll make sure that we drive there though. I don't think we should just bridge right to the beach."

"Agreed. Build the excitement." She kissed his cheek gently and looked at Megatron. "Should we break it up, or? They are having so much fun, I kind of don't want to interrupt."

Optimus hummer in amusement. "I agree." He turned his head slightly to look at her. "Megatron took Calytrix after I finished dressing her because she was getting upset you had not come back. He's done a great job of distracting her. He's turned out to be a great sire to both of them."

"Of course he has! You are a great father too, Optimus. I could not ask for anything more." She leaned in and they both kiss. "I love that you both help with them both. I know Calytrix and Stellaxy are going to grow up loving both of you."

Optimus kissed her again and she moved closer to his face, rubbing his cheek gently. "And I enjoy being a sire to them. I used to believe that I wouldn't find a sparkmate and have a sparkling. I am glad that I found you on this planet, Saphira."

Saphira blushed and kissed him again. "Alright, Optimus..." She and Optimus look towards Megatron to see him looking at them with a smile, and the two sparklings were staring at them with excited expressions. "I think I've run out of steam. You said you had a surprise. I think it's time to pay up."

Saphira giggled and Optimus hummed in amusement. He walked closer to Megatron and took both sparklings into his hands. Calytrix glanced at Saphira and seemed to think about wanting to reach out to her, but she controlled herself. "You both have been really good girls, despite a few protests. I have made the decision to take you both out for a drive somewhere today. I am sure you want to see the world and breath some fresh air." Calytrix immediately lit up, while Stellaxy seemed hesitant about leaving the safety of the Harbinger. "We won't be out all day, and Saphira is coming along as well."

"Hmm...a road trip, huh?" Ratchet said with a smile. "That sounds like a lot of fun."

"And granddad is coming along too," Saphira added in, surprising the medic. Though Ratchet was rather happy about joining, so he made no complaint. "So will Uncle Knockout, Uncle Breakdown, Aunty Arcee and Uncle Ultra Magnus..." Calytrix squealed happily and Stellaxy turned her head to look at Megatron uncertainly. "Megatron is coming as well...don't worry Stella. Dadda is coming too."

Stellaxy whimpered a little and put her thumb in her mouth. 'I no want to go...I wanna stay...'

Saphira smiled at Stellaxy as she was being shy and cautious. "How about you come along for a little while, and I'll make you both a very special necklace afterwards. Would you like that?"
